Hey, sweet, I don't think there was a description there when I found it.
That's okay, if there's ever a reasonably available reprint of Of Muppets and Men in the future, some of those photos would be great for framing and putting on your wall!
MC was mentioned in the January section. What happened in September?
Also, as skankin-frackle mentioned in another thread, the Henson NY workshop closed this year. I don't think I saw that in Luke's version either.
Hey, that's what I'm here for. I also noticed that Question 4 on the Jim Henson Trivia page needs to be updated. There are two correct answers there now.
That's beautiful. I love it.
Mine involves singing The Rainbow Connection to my daughter since she was in the womb, singing her to sleep with it and playing the song in the car. By 10 months or so she was singing it with me and we finally watched the movie for the first time. Matching the...
Either I grew up watching an alternate cut, which isn't likely, or I always knew this from the beginning and thus have remembered it this way. It's been so long since I've seen it that my mind could have just inserted the variant scene and that's just how I remember it.
Weird. Like the...
[laughs] Everyone, including Warrick, is forgetting that a petition was written and a campaign started to get Fraggle Rock released on DVD earlier this year. April to be specific.
Here are some obvious ones...Sergeant Floyd Pepper
Dr. Julius Strangepork (, MD?.. what kind of doctor is he anyway?)
Gonzo the Great, aka, The Great Gonzo
Bebop da Biddiliy Bop Dog (I know I'm way off here, someone will provide the correct name)I know Pigathius comes from the Avery Schrieber...

I figured they two must have been involved and wondered about Kirk Thatcher too. I think I like Craig Shemin's stuff, but I don't know if I've been exposed to enough of it. I know he's done a lot of stuff for print over the years and wrote some stuff for the Muppets Inside CD-ROM. He was a great...
I was flipping (clicking) through the Timeline when I came across...
"2000 Muppet Bad Andy becomes the new spokesman of Domino's Pizza"
I remember those commercials, but I never knew he was a Henson character. Who performed him?
PS: the link provided on that Timeline page for Bad Andy...
addition...
In April, a fan-initiated campaign began in the form of a petition to see the release of Fraggle Rock on DVD including backing from the likes of Karen Prell and Jerry Juhl.

I agree they couldn't put it on a DVD... but there's got to be somewhere they could show it. *If* there's ever another MuppetFest, they should produce a 10 minute behind-the-scenes montage for the fans or something.
