JonnyTBird uploaded THIS in English, a Sesame Street News segment that only aired once on the show in 1989!
I will admit, I thought hearing Marty Robinson doing the News Flash announcer spiel was pretty funny. I'm guessing that during Season 20 they tried experimenting with the News Flash...
While this is technically from "A Muppet Family Christmas," it still counts because of this thing featuring the Sesame Street Muppets. A random thing I noticed is when the Sesame Street gang finishes "Deck the Halls" with that final "laaaa", most of the Muppets toss their heads back, but the...
I watch that every year too, along with "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street!" My brother also likes to watch "A Muppet Family Christmas" every year with his girlfriend, and usually treats it as the only "Sesame Street"-related material he's willing to watch.
That was a cute segment from the "Sesame Street" Muppets. i.e. Big Bird, Grover, Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Rosita. It was also interesting hearing the early 2010s "Sesame Street" theme instrumental accompany it (as at least it runs longer than the 2015-present opening theme does!)
Jeffery Scott, a prominent writer of 80s kids' cartoons that was a developer on the original "Muppet Babies" series, is suing Disney for apparently copying his original series bible for the 2018 reboot! Read it here...
Yeah, I noticed many stores setting up Halloween displays and merchandise near the end of August. WAY too early for me, and Halloween is my favorite holiday! I'm going to wait until next week, when we're halfway into September, to start getting in the spirit (no pun intended.)
Before the...
Hey there, I am trying to identify an illustration from the 1985 "Three Sesame Street Stories" Golden Book Video adaptation of the "Wanted: The Great Cookie Thief" book. I remember learning that quite a few things were added into the video version that weren't in the book, as it was common for...
I think the seam was made more noticeable to emphasize that it was a mechanical double of Kermit. Also regarding Dr. Nobel Price calling Kermit "Mr. Frog" here, keep in mind that segment was made as part of the Season 15 production cycle (1983), whereas all the other Dr. Nobel Price News Flash...
LOL at Piggy's "Ooh la BLECH!!!" among seeing the fried tarantula. Lots of Uncle Deadly action in this one too!
Heh, Bunsen Honeydrew breaking Beaker's snowglobe brought back these "Elmo Saves Christmas" vibes, though it wasn't as dusty as Elmo's magic snowglobe shattering. But Bunsen had no...
Yeah, with the exception of the "Talky Stick" one, since Jim Henson was probably unavailable at the time due to his busy schedule, so they came up with Warren Wolf (performed by Kevin Clash) as a substitute.
Here's an individual upload of the final Sesame Street News segment featuring Dr. Nobel Price, in English. I think this is probably the funniest one they did; hearing Richard Hunt performing Sherman the Hoppity Hop was fun, and it was great seeing Kermit get even more frustrated at Dr. Price...
True, Linda Cardellini played Velma in those two live-action Scooby-Doo theatrical movies, but she also voiced Marcy/Hot Dog Water in the "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" animated series, since she was created as a rival of sorts to Velma (voiced by Mindy Cohn in the series.) And of course...
Did anyone else catch Scooter's desktop wallpaper being a photo of him as a baby? Nice touch!
I've also noticed that Eric Jacobson's Miss Piggy has lately been sounding less like Miss Piggy and more like Grover. And a friend of mine pointed out that Eric's Fozzie also tends to sound a lot like...
Is it just me, or did Fozzie get a new puppet again recently? He looks a little different from the design they came out with for the 2011 "The Muppets" film. And then they showed a couple of those 90s-2000s stock photos with Fozzie's "older" design a few times!
Heh, during the field test...
Heh, last night I dreamed about seeing a bizarre version of this News Flash segment on YouTube:
It was over five minutes long (instead of three), and I remember the green baby monster in the firefighter helmet had a completely different voice that didn't sound like Jerry Nelson. I also recall...
Don't forget Carl's parents, apparently! I'm also pretty sure Patty Ratburn is also gay, given her mannerisms and wardrobe, and that Jane Lynch voiced her. Perhaps it runs in the Ratburn family? Except maybe for Rodentia, as it was mentioned a while back she had a child. And with that, it was...
