In order to share the enjoyment of your lovely art, I am providing a verbal description of both pictures for our MC friends who see most clearly with their minds and not their eyes. I hope I have done them justice!
First Picture
This is a lovely picture of Kermit and Piggy at home. (I am...
OMG! Another frog/pig snuggle fan!
These are very wonderful, and what I like best is not just that they are top-drawer art-wise, but I really like the emotion you have put into them. Each picture give a little look into their hopes and dreams of their life together.
I especially like the...
(Rizzo's belly is so full he can't see his toes, which are propped up on Ru's knee. They are sitting side-by-side in the lime tweed recliner in the middle, looking at "The Pie and Pastry Bible.")
Rizzo: (crossing himself) I never thought of myself as the religious type, but I swear I'm thinking...
Chapter 142: Damages
The meeting was already going when Piggy sidled up to Rory and burrowed playfully under his arm. She was positively beaming with happiness, her cheeks flushed becomingly, and Rory smiled at her. When he looked up, Kristen caught his eye and they exchanged satisfied looks...
(Apartment 5 is approaching normal after last night's party. (Well, you know what I mean--normal for us.) Ru is pushing things the party things away and gathering up the crepe paper. Rizzo is helping.)
Rizzo: Nice shindig, huh?
Ru: I thought it went rather well.
Rizzo: It was really smart...
Of course it does. (Of COURSE she is....*)
Lovely, as always. I particularly like Kermit's smitten expression as Piggy "keeps him on his toes."
Ru
* Although I think Kermit can take the lead and stand his ground admirably when he wants to.
(There is a party going on in Apartment 5--at least, it is based in Apartment 5, but it is spilling out into the hallway. Piggy, looking absolutely stunning in her new outfit--a present from Ru--and Kermit, in a fit of inspired silliness, is wearing one of his presents for Piggy--a pirate...
Okay--this is their USUAL outfit at home. (Yes, Piggy wears a boa and heels for daywear.)
And THIS is the outfits that they got for the birthday party. (Piggy is a bride, and Kermit is a pirate!)
There is much whispering and shushing in Apartment 5.
Kermit: Ouch, Fozzie--that was my foot! Watch where you're going, won't you?
Fozzie: But I can't see over the packages!
Ru: Here, Fozzie--let me have some of them.
Fozzie: Thanks, Ru. Gosh, there sure are a lot of them this year...
Chapter 141: Aftermath
On camera, it was all smiles and blushes and wonderful. Off-camera, it was a different story. Just beyond the field of vision of the all-seeing camera’s eye, there was a fierce battle going on, and it involved one angry agent, one annoyed boss, one outraged personal...
In case anyone hasn't noticed, Kermit's a real slow mover. ;>)
It's one thing to be irresistibly attracted to Piggy, to want to hear her whisper sweet nothings into his aural organs and smooch him on his froggy lips, but Kermit is well aware of the whole moth-to-the-flame dynamic. He is wary...
I have watched a ton of interviews with frog and pig both pre-publicity and post-movie release, and I do remember Kermit saying, "Oh yes. We're together." Once, I happen to remember that they were holding hands when it was said, and when the audience erupted into cheers and clapping and stuff...
Yay! Frog-pig snuggling! I'm glad that Kermit FINALLY managed to tell Piggy what we've known all along--that he LOVES her and wants her to belong to him and only him. Apparently confession is as good for the body as it is for the soul.
Or you could just enjoy the publicity without being all obsessive about what they're going to give us in the movie. (This from someone who is currently writing chapter 141 in a muppet fanfic started almost seven years ago.) I'm not criticizing obsessive interest in the movie, but I am saying...
You know, there is a side of Piggy that likes bad boys...Long John Silver, for example. It would be awesome to see Kermit have to take a stand--and possibly take out a bad guy trying to move in on his pig! Kermit is never more adorable that when he steps to the plate and exercises his natural...
