A streaming service might be a possibility, if Disney is willing to dig that deep into their archives. Streaming, after all, is how Warner Bros. got out many of its animated properties to the public again, thanks to their Boomerang website. Warner also has their Warner Archive service, which has...

Incidentally they did once try to release the original Muppet Babies on DVD during a revival campaign in the early 2000s with a series of plush dolls, each one with a DVD of one episode of the show, heavily edited to exclude footage...
I rather like the look of the early Miss E. It's smaller, yes, but the face more closely resembles the original artwork the puppets were based on. Plus I just really like the idea of a wee little girl having a lot of strength and energy.
Technically it is. The show was a Hanna Barbera production, and they hired the Kroffts to design and build the costumed characters. Unfortunately their segments are only a fraction of the show, which is mainly occupied by various, unrelated live action and cartoon shorts from the HB library...
I'm guessing it was either misinformation or the rights for theatrical distribution are different from home video/tv. The only movie I know of that Universal had distributed with the Muppets was The Great Muppet Caper, as The Muppet Movie was released independently by ITC, so that makes things...
I like Ingrid, but personally I prefer Humphrey. They're both kind of the same character as far as I'm aware, two bumbling fools in love. Joey actually used the Ingrid voice for one other character, in a one off Sesame Street skit called "The Flying ME".
The 90s was a great time for Sesame...
Have you considered doing MCR as a video stream? I'm not sure how strict copyright policies are on some other video streaming sites, but I've seen people do podcast/radio streams on places like YouTube and Twitch. You could come up with a graphic to set the music to, or even an interface to show...
I know they had done some skits about seasons, but hardly did they do anything about months of the year. On the album "My Name Is Roosevelt Franklin," there is however one song about months of the year, with a character named Mobity Mosely.
Seeing Roosevelt Franklin again, even for a fleeting moment, is enough to tell me that the 50th anniversary of Sesame Street will be one of their best yet. What a miracle! If they can do that, then the sky's the limit! :flirt:
What I'm saying is that this does not appear in an episode. It is a publicity photo, a photo that is staged and taken for the purpose of advertising the show in printed media (newspapers, magazines, etc.)
A lot of this appears to be the same kind of stuff a lot of us Muppet fans have been talking about. The financial side of it is something we don't discuss a lot, so that's some interesting points at least. But even if the rest of it is obvious to us, like how writers who know the Muppets best...
At the end of the day, the people of Tough Pigs, Muppet Central, the Muppet Mindset, all of those kinds of places, we're all Muppet fans in some way or another. Some people just like to express their fanaticism in different ways. But there should be no divide among us, as we all get together to...
My score was 32. Lot of unusual exclusions. Johnny Fiama's not there, nor Seymour, Thog's there but not Thig, most surprising is that neither Mahna Mahna nor the Snowths are there. Tough game!
Folks, I am proud to announce my return to the Drawing Circus! Now in its second season, tomorrow at 9PM EST I'll be facing a dragon fancier. Come join in the one and only circus where you call the shots! Anything can happen! https://twitch.tv/wobblypython
In case you missed the show when it was live, now you can see it and easily share it on YouTube. I've embedded it right here for those of you who'd rather stay on the forum.
