No, I haven't brought it at all. It's super hard to find, and am not sure if it will ever be in stores in my area. They have it at Barnes and Noble, but it's slightly more than I'm willing to pay, and for obvious reasons, I can't open up the DVD and look inside to see if the frame is included...
I watched the opening for the iconic first lines...and let me tell you, while Gordon was talking, I felt incredibly warm inside...and I almost started choking up! Already 50 years ago, he informed Sally and the rest of the world that they've "never seen a street like Sesame Street, everything...

In addition, they continued to air for years on episodes of Sesamstrasse...not to mention being included on various compilation tapes they've made throughout the 90's and 2000's.

There are more that come to mind, and I'll get back to those later.
That's actually an intelligent point! From what I've noticed, Olivia was definitely more harsh than anybody with Big Bird when it came to trying to prove Snuffy's existence. The Hawaii Trip, 1186, 1575, 1585/1895 (via clip montage), 1706, 1800, 1836, 1957, 1966 are all examples that stick out...

I think this scene will officially be considered as one of my top favorite moments from the show's 50 year history. Thank you for sharing it with us, Scott.
Seriously? HBO Max hasn't been activated yet and you're already fretting over how many classic episodes will be on there? Will it kill you to wait for awhile before acting out?
I did google this info earlier today. The regular HBO services charge about $14.99/month, so I'm guessing it will be around the same price for Max. If that's the case, subscribers will have the option to use the 30 day (or 1 month, whichever it is) free trial. After it expires, and you want...
If there are only a few specific individual episodes you want, then those are the only ones you can worry about buying. You don't have to buy the entire volume if you don't want to.
