Nope, no Bitterman. During the period when Bitterman owned the theater, in The Universe In Which Kermit Had Been Born, the theater was closed and quietly mouldering in my universe. The Muppets owned it--J.P. Grosse had willed it to them--but they had not been doing stage shows, thus they...
Oh, Billie's not ready for a starring role just yet. They haven't been grooming her for the stage. But if she really wants in on an act, and there's a natural spot for her, well, why not?
I wish that Disney and Sesame could work together more! But I also wish for four-day weekends and...
Too true, too true. Wouldn't it be a shocker if Fleet penned a fair, accurate article about them for once?
Billie is fine. She's about three years old now, and getting into everything she can, including a number in the upcoming show. She's also bilingual. If they do a coproduction of...
Yep. We've seen how Fleet has treated Gonzo and Piggyin past stories. He'll write whatever will pull in the supermarket checkout readers. And he figured out pretty quickly that Janken's gay. That by itself is a big who-cares; Jan's a nebbishy background character. But he might lead to...
The question is, what did Fleet get out of Janken? Jan's not into gossip. It's not likely that Fleet could get any dirt from him. On the other hand, he doesn't understand Fleet, so he wasn't on his guard. Fleet might find something useful in what Jan didn't say.
It's even more obvious if I name the right show. I meant Cabaret. Why would I say Fiddler on the Roof when I mean Cabaret? The stage show, not the movie, as the songs are different.
WebMistressGina: Glad you like the fic so far! Actually, this isn't a Gonzo feature. It's mostly Piggy and S/J...
Thank you! I'm glad that people seem to like how I'm writing Piggy. I'm being careful with her, but being too careful leads to dull stories.
You're thinking along the right lines. Piggy does want to teach then that waking around and looking pretty-pretty will only take them so far. But how...
Dollars to radishes it'll just be a reissue of the existing box set. Hmm, maybe they'll pack a 4-page "graphic novel" and a tiny cheap plush in there and jack the price up. /cynicism
I agree. The scene in The Great Muppet Caper in which everyone was ready to break down the door while Gonzo was developing film in the bathroom was tasteless and inappropriate. :smirk:
Ramsay sure was a good sport, wasn't he? And I got a chuckle when Walter was so flattered at being called a Muppet, when Ramsay was actually insulting him. :fanatic:
I just changed the backdrop for the Muppet Theater from the Halloween backdrop to the arches, and when I went to swap it back I found that the Halloween backdrop was gone, and so was the Halloween lighting effect.
So, they charge diamonds for holiday sets and effects, and don't inform you that...
One of my favorite Youtube folks, Cyriak, has a great video titled "Powers of Ramsay." I don'twant to embed the video, which has some printed language. Let's just say that Cyriak finds him objectionable and abrasive, and uses his bizarrely brilliant CGI skillz to express it. So here's the URL in...
YES. Little Muppetty viral videos that make me smile. Gordon Ramsey "dancing" with Sweetums. Muppets in hairnets. I needed a little something to brighten the day, and this did the job.
