Okay, I know this is pretty obsessive for me to mention, but I have to say this....
Anyone else notice that Nanny says "I almost forgot! I have a special surprise cookie for you." and Gonzo refers to it as a liverwurst sandwich, and Nanny comes back with Spaghetti? I always thought that...
And they said it couldn't be done. Fisher Price has released Big Bird and Snuffy plush together. And get this... they both (apparently) sing too.
I've noticed that Gund had a couple Snuffy Plushes since the 35th anniversary assortment (both a small and medium sized one), but this is Fisher...
Mimmicking a similar thread in the Classic Muppets section , I felt it was a great subject to bring up here as well. Recurring Background character or not... who is your favorite (or are your favorites).
For me, and we probably know this by now, Forg (Kermit the Forg from the Wonderful...
The 90's skit in which about 20 weird characters march down a parade route, carrying numbers. a stop motion sequence utilizing miniature masks and drawn and cut out animated bodies. with character explanations (Cuz, I knew you were looking for it for some time, Count...
1- An orange smiling...
HOLY MOLEY! I can't believe it... they made toys of it! Holy crap! http://www.toyarchive.com/MiscHeathcliffBandaiCar.html
I refer of course to the 1980's DIC Heathcliff series. Now, it looks like they only made the car, and no little Riff Raf PVC's or anything... and it was only sold in...
..or a PVC... or anything for that matter? Seems like Murray has become such a big monster on SS, being the "Word on the Street" opener, and the star of the main segment, "Murray has a Little Lamb." This character's design is fantastic, and I would love to see someone make some 3-D...
Okay, this is a new one I didn't hear about. Apparently, there's a "new" DVD of 3 episodes (just the segments, edited to fit each other, apparently) that was released a little while ago. It has the 3 stories "Big Bird gets Small", "The Amazing Alphabet Race" and this season's opener "Texas...
Well, SW has done it again... clearly they're using Abby to get all kinds of merchandising bucks that Zoe could never get. This weekend, I saw some cool holiday stuff if you're an Abby enthusiast.
For Halloween, they have an Abby plastic trick or treat pail shaped like her head. They also...
From the "creepy movie" thread...
Ugh! OOk! I just saw that on TV... that makes the Burger King King look as cute and non-threatening as Big Bird! And the commercial doesn't even make any sense...
but I've noticed that we have nothing but ultra-creepy or ultra akward disturbing...
In regards to the "Am I the Only One" thread, I've decided to start one myself... but on different terms.
Does this ever happen to you? Do you have a song that follows you around no matter where you go? All the sudden you're watching a movie or TV show, and it's playing in the soundtrack...
I might as well post it here... in case anyone missed it.
Fraggles HATE Binooni Berries
Now, I will say it's about a PG rating... I used the "Unnecissary Censorship" bit (but it's all in context of the story... nothing outwardly offensive)... so a head's up there...
Plus, it's the...
YAY! WOOHOOO! YEAH! ARRIGHT! SUGOI! YAHOO! YIPPY SKIPPY!
Why am I so happy? My PBS station FINALLY stopped showing Teletubbies! YEAH! RIGHT ON! And I have Sid the Science kid and Martha Speaks to thank for that! I am SOOOO HAPPY right now!
The long lost episode featuring Baby janice has been posted on Youtube
Personaly, not too strong an episode, but still real entertaining. Especially the rerefence to various cartoon bunnies...
specially a certain Live action/animation hybrid star which shall remain nameless.
Okay... I had a good day. i found a McDonalds still giving out Kung Fu Panda toys, and I got the Mr. Potatohead that's dressed like Optimus Prime.
I come home, turn on the Simpsons, and my entire day was blown. I'm angry and depressed. I'm in Despair. (no one's gonna get that)
Anyway...
A Man Called Flintstone and Hey There, it's Yogi bear
Finally. Appears there was some rediculous rights snag with Sony over the ownership of the movie (as it was released as Screen Gems). But Warners finally cleared them up. And it's about time too.
Now if only they could work something...

I can't say that the plot doesn't sound cheasy... but this may finally be the decent project that Looney Tunes has been waiting for since BIA flopped and Duck Dodgers was cancelled. Baby Looney Tunes was a clear and obvious knockoff of Muppet Babies...
We have that "which SS Songs make you cry" thread, but I wonder... which ones drive you crazy? ones that either annoy you, or make you burst into fits of uncontrollable laughter. (positive and negative)
For a song that never fails to drive me into a frenzy of laughter, It's Google Bugle for...

Apparently, it's about a talent competition. I've heard possitive things about the first one, but have yet to see it.
