Seriously... SERIOUSLY... does it matter what I write on here?
I could say "New muppet Movie News! Jim Carrey to play the lead villain role" and it wouldn't be true, and no one would buy it. Or I could say "New Action figure line to rival Palisades' series that costs less than 3 bucks a...
this has been something I've noticed for a while, and This thread brings up something that's going to confuse a lot of newer members, and other members who don't frequent.
Basically what I'm trying to say is I think it's time to get rid of the reference to the "rumored CGI show" in the header...
I thought I'd share this interview, as it has a brief little mention of Dinosaur Train by the voice actor of the conductor. And a brief bit about how he got a long time co-actor got a part as "The King."
Seems I forgot to post this
I really used to love that show back in the day, when they aired it Sunday Nights before prime time. I even read some of the books they had with it. Nice to see another classic SW show is coming to DVD. Still want to see a Square One Math set sometime in the future.
While I already started a thread about Cookie Monster's solo adventures, Munchin' Impossible, I finally found some footage and a small page on Sesame Workshop's site.
Now, I'm not the biggest Elmo fan out there, nor am I completely a detractor, but I'm sort of digging this segment (at least...
Very odd collectible. production art of the Muppets made in the style of an animation cel
Looks alright for the standard style guide of Muppet characters in a vague cartoonish form. Personally, I'd rather have some sort of print collectible art by one of the Muppet Comic Book artists, Amy...
Not only did I see this coming seems like it took them years to realize this.
Now, I'm sure we've all heard the exact same rant about cable TV a billion times by now (MTV probably holds the dubious distinction of giving the finger to their niche market years ago), and all I can say us, if...
....yeah.... someone's gotta tell someone that Toy Based movies suck the worst.

What stupid casting too. I'd chose the Rock, myself... make it an insane comedy picture. But hey, it's a stupid idea anyway, might as well have stupid casting in it.
And the Fraggle Rock movie sits...
Inspired by the costume fail thread (though I was planning to post this before) I have to bring this up...
Earth's Best (that company that advertises/sponsors on Sesame Street) has Sesame Street character food tie-ins. Among them, is 2 different flavors of oatmeal featuring Elmo and Zoe...
I can't be the ONLY one who likes this new addition to the SS cast. In a season of lackluster letter and number segments, these characters outshine the rest of the non-muppet segments. I'm really hoping this becomes a new recurring segment past season 40.
If there's one thing that SS was...
Why isn't there a thread about this already?
Snow White is the next comic after King Arthur
The cast is even announced with Spamella Hamderson playing the title role, making Miss Piggy the queen once again. Sounds pretty cool.
... Baby steps... Baby steps, sir.
It really isn't all that epic or amazing, but I've seen some of their earlier made specifically for the Disney Store merchandise, unless you count the run of UK Kermit Environmentalist stuff. NO TOYS...
So far, All I saw was kid's T-shirts, a beach...
Now, this I find pretty odd an observation. For the longest time, most countries, when they got a co-production of SS didn't want to use (or couldn't use) the actual American characters. Even when the African and Chinese co-productions had Elmo and Big Bird characters respectively placed in...
Simply amazing... USB drives that come with a VHS/DVD special in them and room to store other files. This may not exactly revolutionize computer video viewing, but they seem pretty cool to me.
Here's something that's been bothering me for a LONG time, and I just had it to here at this point.
By now, you ALL know my worldly view of cartoons new and old, from different countries, and artistic stuff that no one could ever see on television.
All too many times on youtube I see the...
Of course, I am referring to recurring segments on the show (modern era ones, at any rate) and not recurring sketches. I.E. Elmo's World is a recurring segment, Waiter Grover is a recurring sketch. The parts of the show that are separate from the rest of the show, and ones that were going to...
I went to Kohls recently, and saw the Sesame Street Stackers set (a group of larger PVC figures that are supposed to be easily stacked up). Now,I managed to get the Abby, Elmo, and Cookie set on clearance after Halloween (it came in a pumpkin shaped package)... but this other set is in a small...
HOLY MOLEY COW!
apparently, they're kicking off the start of a "Cartoon Network All Stars" line up. I hope it's successful.. WB has a history of dropping stuff like it's hot. But this is great news.
I just checked out Muppet Wiki, and I saw these new T-shirt pictures posted...
The Electric Mayhem ala Yellow Submarine
Kermie Hendrix
These are just AMAZING... too good to be shirts. They'd be even better as posters or wall art.
