I really want to see Dr. Phil Van Neuter again, he was great, like a hyper Bunsen. Johnny Fiama and Sal Minella duo was the best, sucks Brian Henson left.
Eh, wasn't a fan of the season premiere. Loved the second episode with them going on a boat trip with Teddy just so he could show off to his ex-wife and ultimately getting chased by bulls and all that, felt really cartoony and I liked it.
I started watching this and while I had mixed feelings about the pilot, the third episode was hilarious, especially Zorn's little feud with the hot sauce.
Can't wait for the next episode in two weeks.
Ice Age 5 has basically wrapped up domestically with a meager $63 million, that's almost $100 million below the previous low for the series domestically, which was $161 million for Ice Age 4. Worldwide they've raked in $400 million, good for an animated movie, yes, good for an Ice Age movie, NO...
Surprised they haven't made one for Shrek or Ice Age yet, but all these animated blockbusters get these Nickelodeon,Cartoon Network, or Netflix releases of series that all have these traits
1) Obviously much cheaper animation
2) New voice actors as the big name celebrities don't want to be...
The cover isn't showing up, but I'm assuming it's this.
It's seems like it's a trend these days to re-release family movies on DVD, with one character on the DVD cover, I see a ton of those particulary with Blue Sky Studios and Dreamworks at Walmart. It looks nice enough though, but I know...
Yes it would work....with fans, the general public could care less, if they wouldn't even watch a show with Kermit the Frog, they're not going to watch something with much lesser know characters, if they were to make one I would love it, but it would obviously bomb on TV, and probably only get...
Well the point of the joke was that Bob's Burgers had to air between The Simpsons and Family Guy to get solid ratings otherwise it would crash like The Cleavland Show. But, in the spring when Bob's aired post-Simpsons, it was essentially tying it in the ratings. The Simpsons and Family Guy have...
It's been really frusturating from MMW and The Muppets tv show fllopping, it just seems like Disney could easily give up on the muppets. I still blame the reboot for the show's cancellation. It was hovering around a 1.1 and 1.2 demo which is barely passable for a renewal, when it returned it was...
Some box office thoughts
Aww, I wanted Sausage Party to take the #1 spot, it ended up going to Suicide Squad tumbled 67% but still has a respectable $222 million domestic total, which is already well above it's budget
As for Sausage Party, it did great opening to $33.6 million on a $19...
Sausage Party got off to a great start with $13.5 million on it's first today, demolishing the meager $7 million that Ice Age 5 did on it's first day which was the last animated film to open, I'm glad it did so well, it seems like a great concept and with a budget of just $19 million, it's a...
In Season 1 Episode 22 of TMS, the Ethel Merman one, Miss Piggy meets Fozzie's agent, Irving Bizarre. Irving asks Miss Piggy if he can handle her, but Miss Piggy says she already has an agent, then Irving says he doesn't want to be her agent he just wants to handle her.
Some box office thoughts
Suicide Squad easily broke the August record with $135 million, despite awful reviews, probably doesn't hold well in the coming weeks.
The Secret Life of Pets continues to be an amazing performer taking fourth place down a light 39% in week 5 to $11.5 million...
