100% agree. They had great plots but there was hardly ever more than 90 seconds of backstage stuff at a time. I love TMS, but I wish there was more focus on plot.
In the Alice Cooper episode right after the Muppet Labs sketch where Bunsen enlarges a germ that engulfs Beaker, there's this hilarious bit.
Kermit: Bunsen, that germ better not be contagious.
Bunsen: *snickers*
I'm sad for Son of Zorn. It was getting really good. It started strong in the ratings but its finale garnered less than a third of the premiere ratings, so it was expected.
I agree. Not only muppets.com, but all those great youtube videos. They were making all these viral videos like Bohemian Rhapsody and Beaker's ode to joy back in the late 00's and early 10's. Then they pretty much stopped and now all they do are those "thoughts of the week" that barely register...

Nowadays, the average person will say they like the muppets but have only seen one or two movies or...

Overall, this season is just more of the same. I long lost hope that this show will be great again or that we'll get a satisfying...
I watched parts that birthday special thing and it was disturbing. I don't remember/care how Arthur traveled through time but it was so awkward seeing DW older than Arthur.
I haven't really posted regularly in a long time, probably since The Muppets was canceled, there's just not much to talk about. I don't want to "leave" the forum though, I still pop in from time-to-time.
I have 2 "best of the muppet shows". One is a VHS tape (time-life video) with the Belafonte, Ronstadt, and John Denver episodes. The other is a DVD (Columbia) with Raquel Welch,:flirt: Star Wars, and Paul Simon. There's no real difference from what I know. Obviously, the DVDs have some extra...
Yup, LMOE is great. Here's the discussion thread that never caught on.
