Okay, apparently the screenshots I posted from FTB are not GFN. The first GIF I posted in black and white with the blue shawl is definatley her because she was identified in the book as such.
That said, I found a picture of the puppet, so I can say without adoubt that this is Granny Fannie...
Oh neat, so another female character that Jim voiced. Is this sketch on any of the commercially released tapes?
Also, this is the best I could do for the later shot in FTB since she's so darn far away, but it definatley looks like the same puppet as the one I posted earlier.
Ryan, is that...
I lost the ability to take DVD screenshots a while ago on account of my screwing with my firmware, but I was able to take a picture.
Is this her?
And, oh! I never noticed Professor Nobel Price in the background just seconds before either!
Hey Kev,
You may be right, but assuming you are, Disney is kind of the greater of the evils at this point. Just think of what a lesser company could do to Henson. Oh wait, we've seen it. EM.TV. And even in their reign, they allowed Henson to do some cool stuff. On the other hand, there's no...
Well, no. If Bear were going to continue, that Disney/JHC contract would likely go untouched unless it were renegotiated. EM doesn't produce Bear, JHC does, so the same would go relationship-wise if Disney bought JHC.
It's a moot point anyway as Bear hasn't been renewed... which is a cryin'...
That he's directing it isn't news, but the film goes into production soon and some more talent has signed since.

I'm coming in at the end of this thread, but I noticed Tom's lambasting of one of my favorite shows on TV.. Enterprise.
I love it. I think it's fantastic. A wonderfully fresh spin on the Trek franchise with the potential to only get better.
And they haven't been re-writing Trek history...
Yeah, the character list is exactly the same, I think they just added a few. Plus they've got mistakes there.
I don't think the changes have anything to do with trying to improve the site, it's just expansion of the same thing (read: crap... I've been reiterating this point).
Grrr. :smirk:
Concerning Bear and Disney... Bear is completely owned and produced by Henson. They just have a good deal with Disney to show it on their TV channel and distribute products like CDs and toys.
The whole issue just makes me extremely cranky. Currently Henson.com exists as the perfect example of a site built by people who shouldn't be allowed near Flash. It can be used well, they just need to learn how.
As for content, well yeah, obviously it's lacking in that department. Not to...
