I'd like to own one of the houses I grew up in. It's not on the bus routes and it'd be waaay out of my price range, but I'd love it. I still walk around that house in my mind sometimes.
More realistically, I'd like to be part of a puppetry production. I make puppets, and I walk around and...
If I were to write Walter, I'd keep in mind that, unlike the others, he's not a performer. He's a fan. In MMW he's the one Muppet who sees the show not from the point of view of a performer who finally is free of Kermit's restrictions and can do whatever dumb act he has his heart set on, but...
I went to see it today at the AMC Phipps Plaza. I was expecting an empty house, but surprise surprise, the theater house was about 80% full. People chuckled rather than laughed at most of the jokes.
I got Sweetums right away. However, I've had no luck getting duplicates with my upgraded digitizer. I got four Marvin Suggses, so I know you can get more special edition character, but I find it odd that I'm having such trouble with the ogre. Has anyone else gotten more than one of him?
Ah, that's how your family cooked it? Cool. I wish I knew how to make corned beef and cabbage the way my mother made it. Alas, she never used recipes--or measurements--or timers--so to learn how she made anything I'd have to watch her make it. I've been able to learn her Greek chicken and...
Thank, guys, glad you liked this chapter.
The bit with Pepper and Gonzo came straight out of real life. It's a shortened version of what happened when I met Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. I met them at the Dragon*Con art show and spoke them to a little while before I realized who they were...
What is this? Two updates in the same month? Has the universe gone mad?!

Part 16: Keeping the Faith

Julie, Kate, Pepper, Duffy, Molly, and Tessie were sitting in a clump in the Muppet theater seating area, waiting for the Muppets to arrive...
Heh, well, I can see your logic about Fraggle milk. However, female Fraggles don't have noticeable knockers, so I assume that unless they've got a baby to feed the milk bar is empty.
(Yeah, The Storyteller is an exception. She may have glandular/hormonal issues.)
I imagine that there are species that, while not domesticated, have symbiotic relationships with Fraggles. Take the Ditzies, for example, which live on Fraggle song and light their caves in return. In my fic world thimble bugs roam around Fraggle caves eating fallen crumbs and bits of detritus...
[Janken pops up]
Janken: Did someone say artichoke? I have the melted butter right bere!
Kim: Where do you get butter in a cave?
Janken: One, same place we get milk that we don't cry over when it's spilt, and two, I'm in Outer Space now, where butter is abundant. I have to watch where...
My first thought is that all the characters look like potatoheads, with various features haphazardly stuck on blank faces without much regard for the end product. Seriously, is a single one of those characters even remotely appealing? Sorry, lady in black, wax lips and cleavage can't save you now.
Ooooh, that's pretty dire. 25 years ago that wouldn't have been bad CGI character design, but...yeah.
It's available on Amazon as "The Guardian of the Highlands." Check out the single review it got. 5 stars. The reviewer, Gavin, can't get enough of it. In fact, if you check out his other...
