Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I dreamt I was in a book store and saw copies of a few Jim Henson and Muppet books I did not know existed (and would have known about online). One that stood out was an expanded rerelease of Sesame Street Unpaved, the book was fatter and shaped differently.
But one of the books included a...
Yeah, when Jerry Nelson died, I was hoping there'd be a collectors DVD focusing on segments with his characters (both rare clips and stuff that had been online for years but not available on home video) while at the same time thinking that same basic thing.
I wonder if the next episode will...
I thought he said the title implies many of the Muppets being involved, not that there aren't a lot involved (when right now, it looks like it's primarily the Electric Mayhem).
I am glad this is finally confirmed. Of course, it could always be canceled (I hope not).
I've seen people on the Tough Pigs forum talking about how they hope the band isn't developed too much, as they disliked their development on the 2015 series and feel they are better as supporting...
Been watching some of the old '90s Apple Jacks commercials recently. At first I had trouble finding many in search, but did see more in related videos. Anyway, many of the ones I have been finding are from later in the 1990s.... And is it just me, or in the '90s, did they go from a usual formula...
The episodes aired in different orders depending on the individual station. By production order, the last episode is Roger Moore. By taping order (kinda confusing thay taping and production order are different), it’s Gene Kelly.
Another thing I was not expecting was the scene with Beauregard and Foo-Foo during the opening. So the very first scene with Foo-Foo had her in real dog form. If not for Kermit being there in the opening, you could say she's on her way to bother Kermit at the start of the show.
This is the only episode I watched in full on YouTube, many years back, but I watched this on Disney + last night, and there were things I didn't remember from before (well, I had watched that only once on YouTube).
Kermit lets Statler and Waldorf host the show, and then they cancel...
My parents recently got Disney +, and this is the first episode I watched on the service. I was going to start with an episode I hadn't seen that was higher on my must-see list, but as I was scrolling the episode list I saw this and figured "okay, I'll watch this one".
I had been aware that...
Promotional stuff for The Muppet Show on Tour, including some fairly lengthy clips.

I just now saw that there's rumors of an upcoming Electric Mayhem series. I guess it now makes sense that there'll be a toyline that's just the Electric Mayhem.

So I guess this means that Diamond Select Toys is now officially done with Muppet figures (well, it doesn't seem like a huge loss, considering in the last few years they only put out one or two a year, and did manage to eventually release all figures planned for series 4).
Do the ReAction...
I just watched every episode of Seinfeld on Netflix (though I did doze off when some were playing and may not have been paying attention to some episodes... I'm surprised that I struggled to pay attention to most of the first two seasons), so here's my top ten episodes of Seinfeld:
1. The Pitch...
I decided to look at the wiki pages for some of the recently-added classic episodes, is it just me or are more segments cut from this batch of classics compared to what's already been on the service?
In particular, a lot of segments from the season 19 premier are cut, though some of them I am...
Something I wondered: For seasons 27-29, do they keep or cut the ending "coming soon on Sesame Street" teasers (considering not many, if any, back to back episodes are on HBO Max)? I guess I could ask the same for when the show was on HBO in the past. It gets me wondering: If they remove the...
This was fun.
Craig Shemin co-hosted, I really was not expecting that.
I think Emillio Degardo was supposed to be part of it, but he did not show up. People in the comments kept asking about him (eventually, somebody commented with him having some unforseen circumstances that kept him)...
Lately I’ve been really enjoying the song “First Grade” (which I am not sure if I had seen before about six months ago), and just a few nights ago, I noticed something about tr custodians: one is blue, the other is orange, but their noses are the color of the other one.
Okay, first time I saw an update on the HBO Max page, I only noticed one episode that was added today. Then I saw more added since, and then there was another post with some more (including that one). I figured maybe they didn't list all of the newly-added ones yet.
