Where did the Big Bird clip they used come from? Is it an episode or segment that has been released commercially, online through Sesame Workshop, or on HBO Max? I really don’t know where that clip comes from (though it’s clearly not a 1970s clip).
I'm guessing they did not need permission to use a Sesame Street clip for a talk show, but I wonder if it would have been just as funny if they used an actual clip from the episode.
Was it really leaked in 2019? I know a few clips were screened publicly and somebody recorded the footage with a camera and put it online, but from what I heard, it was not even all of the street scenes.
I know I’ve brought this up at a number for places, I probably have on the forum somewhere (don’t feel like Looking through 47 pages of posts in this thread right now).
I’ve mentioned a few times that it’s odd that it took so long for them to make a figure of Krang’s Android body that was in...
I must have overlooked it in the guides, but I had not realized that David was only refusing to give the broom back until she gave him some respect. All this time, I thought he was just afraid of what she would do with the broom (and he does seem that way when she finally gets it back), I...
Has any additional news been announced? It was said these would be coming out in Summer, but there doesn’t seem to be any pictures or confirmed release dates yet.
Anybody know if the people working for the coming making these are known for interacting with fans (like the Palisades and Diamond...
It is interesting that some of the reportedly lost episodes are at the AAPB now. I wonder if the museum managed to get copies or if Sesame Workshop ended up finding copies/having them after all (like with episode 1814 which was reportedly lost but assumed to be a database error). I've seen a few...
So what's with the scene from Austin Powers where Austin thinks Basil's mother is a man in disguise? We get a '60s scene where he can tell a man in drag is actually a man, so I guess Austin mistaking Basil's mother for a man in drag somehow reflects the difference between the 1960s and 1990s...
Well, I heard in a Facebook group that all surviving episodes (even episode 847) are there now. I looked a little at the site and see early episodes from seasons 1 and 2 listed. I've also heard that some of the believed to be lost episodes are there.
Somebody on one of the Sesame Street Facebook groups said that the entirety of Sesame Street is available at the AAPB, including some of the lost episodes. I searched a bit and saw that episode 401 is there (I should find the post and see what others are on the site). I also saw that episode 847...
I rented a digital copy of Potty Time Plus and added a full content rundown on the wiki.
I had not seen Elmo's Potty Time before, so it was interesting. I'd say the video is just okay (even if Frank Oz performed Grover in new content here). Have any of the segments been used on the show? The...
So in Back to the Future Part III, Marty and Doc are able to get into a drive-in movie theater during day hours so Marty can travel back in 1885 with unlikely risk of wrecking anything in the past.
So in 1955, could a person just go into a drive-in during daytime hours, when the place would...
Just because he doesn't appear anymore doesn't mean he's "imaginary". I'm sure he'll be back once the pandemic is over and it's okay for two people to be inside a large suit. Lately there has been a lot of animated Sesame Street content, maybe he'll appear in animated form someday.
I was thinking about the Kermit Counts See 'n Say, and I was wondering, are those the actual Muppet performers voices or sound-alikes?
Listening to this video, they kind of sound like the performers and kind of sound different, but that could be due to the sound quality.
It came out in 1990...
Between the opening short in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the three Roger Rabbit shorts that followed, Tummy Trouble is the only one where we see how the short was supposed to end. In the movie, we see the short until Roger gets his "lines" wrong, and in the other, on-set accidents happen before...
