Does anyone else have problems with The Muppets ABC series? I watched some episodes in the morning and I looked now to see if it was there & it's gone. Very strange.

Maybe we would (as in actual muppet fans), but even if they made a show as good as TMS, I doubt it would be a success on primetime tv.

For the most part, I feel like the 2015 series did a good job at that (pre-reboot).

Muppets Tonight came at a time when the muppets were in a disarray. With main characters like Kermit neglected & minor ones like Clifford put in the spotlight, it simply had no appeal to mainstream viewers. Personally, I think it was a solid series.

This 'missed you' message popped up when i logged in right now & it kinda made me feel sad that I rarely post here anymore.

I still have a ton of VHS, so this is good news.

Muppets have created a spot for themselves in the pop-culture universe. Even if they never make another movie or TV Show or if they make absolutely awful productions, they will be remembered and cherished. Many will still watch MCC every year.

I agree. Bad time to restart this thread though since B99 won't be coming back for a long time.

Pretty cool! I feel like y'all should ask him all those really obscure muppet questions (like who played Statler's wife in that one TMS episode) before he gets too overwhelmed.

First one was good, the rest never captured the same magic and were cheap cash-ins.

I haven't been here in a while, can anyone fill me in on if there have been any new details? And tbh, this scandal seems so minor now compared to the stuff that's going on in Hollywood. Thank god the only thing Steve was accused of was being "hard to work with".

Muppets From Space is a movie that I know isn't very good, but I like it anyways. It's a fun film with some decent comedy. Also, I think nostalgia plays a factor for me since it was one of the first muppet productions I watched.

Okay, in this one, Matt sounds legitimately good. If you said this one sounds like Henson, I would agree.
