This is an original Fraggle character. I was in the mood to try out a few different things, and I prefer to experiment on new characters. That way, if I goof it up, nobody knows what it was supposed to look like!

Here's the current puppet in progress. I've tried to make his face more flexible by thinning the foam in the cheeks, snout, and lower jaw from the inside. The results are encouraging.

Misdiagnoses definitely can happen. My nephew was diagnosed as autistic because, at age 3, he was making no effort to talk and paid no attention to anyone around him. However, there was another reason for that: his parents had babied him so much, carrying him everywhere and falling all over...

I just watched Paranorman as a post-Halloween bonus. Good movie! Right afterwards I watched all the special features to see just how the heck they did all that. It would never have occurred to me to use a 3-d printer to make the faces!

That's 1/2" foam. That's what I use for most puppet-making.

I'm shocked that I haven;t seen any Elsas yet. I was expecting at least half the girls to be dressed as her. I've been giving out candy with my Mokey puppet. The kids love her. :)
