I'd run florists' wire around the rims of the ears (under the skin, of course) and poke the ends of the wire through the skull. Attach them to the inside of the skull and then cover the wire, especially the ends, with foam.
*chuckle* One of my DA favorites has a sneeze fetish. She loves drawing characters sneezing! I don't get it, but so what? It's her thing and she's having fun. Last year I commissioned her to draw Scooter with my OC Janken Fraggle, and she did a lovely picture with positively no sneezing.
I've had enough "gimmee!" requests that I have a standard answer: Sorry, I don't have the time to do freebies. However, I am open to commissions. One person actually asked what a commission was, and when I answered that it was a request with dollars backing it up, they said, "oh nvm".
Oof. "Birds of Paradise" looks like just another "Unqualified newb wins the competition just because he really really really wants to" film. Bleah. It'll be another entry on the TV Tropes "magic feather" page.
I'm looking for an answer to this same question. I've got a design in mind that would involve these kinds of corners on the mouth, and I'm not sure how to go about accomplishing that. Rounding off the corners in the pattern would seem like the way to go, except that wouldn't take into account...
Dragon*Con is for just about everything. It has tracks for dozens of different topics, including science, robotics, Tolkien, Star Wars, anime, skeptics, tech, cartoons, puppetry...and voice acting. There's a whole track just for that. It's had other non-fantasy VAs such as Billy West and...
It was stupid stuff by a clique of childish fans who at first pestered me to death with sugary praise and "write/draw this for me!" requests, and when I told them to back off they started a harassment campaign against me. Hate fanfics, nastiness on their websites, E-mail and IRC "whisper...
There are fandoms I've drifted away from and come back to, like Muppets and MOTU. I've had three fandom periods for the Muppets: once when it was originally on, a second time on high school, when I was building puppets, and the third time is now.
It was similar with MOTU, except the second...
Recently I read Osamu Tezuka's epic manga Buddha, which told the story of Prince Siddhartha's life. As a young man he renounces his royal position and becomes a full-time monk. He sees ascetics essentially torturing themselves, believing that will make them more holy, and repeatedly denounces...
Speaking as a non-believer, I am completely unoffended. You're stating that this is what you believe in a thread created for that purpose. If I expect my right to believe something different to be respected, that it follows that I ought to respect the same right in others. Only if I were...
Speaking of FNAF (and FNAF 2), I wrote a little story titled Ensoulment. It's my explanation for why normally benign pizza-pushing bots turned to the dark side.
Yeah, this is OT, but at least I'm only perpetrating this in my own thread.
