That's not entirely accurate. Minor characters still show up here and there, just not as prominently as they used to. The focus has just come back on the core characters of late... which is a good thing.
There are several Bear DVDs currently available. Each disc has 3 episodes and some sing-alongs.

I added a better quality grab of Kevin's work as well as the second one of his found in the game's gallery. I look at them at least once a day. I think they're so excellent. They really capture the Muppet zaniness.
Someone mentioned David Swain might be in the gallery too. Anyone else we know? There are some other names that appear more than once, but they weren't familiar. Maybe some folks who'd already left the scene by the time I came around in 2001.

Sounds like they just got some bad information. Noel is alive and well, but perhaps the rumor started from the fact that Bear is no longer in production for new episodes. That's the best I can make of it anyway.

Thanks, but this is old news and has been posted here before. I believe the article is from sometime halfway through 2000. I remember reading it well over a year ago.
It's basically just about SW just upgrading their archive process which every media company does.
