I still have my Kermit phone too! It sounds like many of us who got them won't let them go. I keep mine in my office. It's great to use when you get on one of those automated phone systems - "press 1 to speak with someone who knows nothing about your problem, press 2 to speak to the supervisor...
I was just joking about Ed Sullivan. I just had a wacky image of him with a Muppet on his arm and talking in a funny voice. Yeah, wasn't he the original Animal? ;)
Hi ho! :)
I saw this on the NBC Website tonight at http://www.msnbc.com/news/dateline_front.asp?cp1=1.

All my best,

I had recently been through the loss of two persons I love in the last two weeks - then Mr. Rogers. The loss I felt over Mr. Rah-rah (as I called him when I was a toddler) was strangely similar to those I knew personally.
I guess I understand now why I thought he didn't look so good at the...
Okay, I have several questions now.
What are the rules for "borrowing"? Would I need something like a library card?
Who IS the Muppet Paparazzi? How much does it pay?
Who was Bear at MuppetFest? Was it Neil/Neal?
Why does Phillip think we care that Bill is married?

Vanishing Posts?! I'm having a problem just getting a post to show up. I'm trying it now. I guess if you can read this then it's working again!

I got into the forum today for the sole purpose of telling Jamie what a fantastic job on the festive menus! I didn't actually expect there would be a new(ish) thread where I could post!
Jamie, you are extremely talented and have added so much to an already awesome website. In a nutshell, it...
Hi-ho!
Since it's the day after Thanksgiving, I thought I'd say that I'm quite thankful and pleased that we even have a new Muppet venture to discuss - no matter the opinions presented!
It has been great to see so much activity lately with our beloved Muppets - TV appearances, Hollywood...
I got bleeped!
Hilarious! My last post got Bleeped! I didn't put those ******* - I was edited. LOL! Of course, Kermit was referencing how frogs dodging trucks was a sport like those stupid stunts represented in a recent movie that begins with a "Jack" and ends with "*ss".

Okay, I just read through a whole debate on late night talk show hosts (zzzzzz) so I almost forgot what I was going to say. ;-)
It was definitely a late night show...
Kermit The Frog quotes you just don't hear on Sesame Street:
"Kind of one of those ******* things"
"I've lusted in my...
Muppet Slots
I got three Fraggles and a Koozbanian on one spin then the "cup holder" on my CPU opened up and gave me a Time/Life Muppet Show DVD. ;-)

That was such a cool surprise! Pretty slick keeping the news quiet. I entered the site as usual and started reading "Muppet Central Re-launch Goes Live". I thought, "Cool...but I don't see any difference." Then it all fell apart - so clever!!
The new site looks great! This is fun!

I struggled through the first hour and then had to escape the sales pitch. Did learn more about what a big deal it is for these companies who sponsor race drivers to give up precious ad space on the race cars so The Muppet Show 25th Anniversary themes could be painted on 12 drivers' cars...
Muppets and NASCAR on QVC
Get this!
I just saw an ad on QVC (you know, one of those TV shopping channels) that Kermit was going to be on with the NASCAR Muppet car models celebrating the 25th Anniv. of TMS. It's this Wednesday, July 10, starting at 9 p.m. ET, for TWO hours.
Cool!
