Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Cool chapter. I liked seeing the penguins washing cars and throwing each other as usual. And I liked the Electric Mayhem's scheme to get more car wash customers. :halo:
And the way Frank had Cookie Monster along with him. And how Dave and Steve made guest appearances along side their...

Day 5
(We see Lewis Kazagger and the Newsman in the announcer box.)
LEWIS: Welcome back, sports fans, to Day 5 of Battle of the Muppet All-Stars. I am Lewis Kazagger.
NEWSMAN: And I’m the guy with the nose for news, Newsman. Uh...
That was quite a nice Jack in Q-land story you wrote, Ziffel. Lots of q things all around. And now Jack has on his mind, the Letter A. :) I wonder what'll happen with that? ;)
Actually, the letter in that skit was D. The big guy named Dudley put down the capital D and the short guy asks, "Where's the small d Dudley?" Dudley replied, "I ate it for dinner", and the short guy says to bring out another one. So Dudley puts down the small d, but then eats the capital D...
How about in the Pick Your Pet, skit? Jim did Sonny Friendly, who later became Guy Smiley, and a bird. While Frank Oz did 4 characters. The girl contestant, a dog, Beautiful Day Monster, and the announcer.
Thank's Ziffel. :) And here's how I'd see the land of S is like. Jack comes across a street and he meets an S guy who's dressed like a surfing dude. He takes Jack to a stop sign to wait for some snakes, squirrels, and surprisingly speedy snails to cross the street. Then S guy takes Jack to a...
That was a touching chapter you wrote. How they all want to help Kermit by pitching in. Even Miss. Piggy was going to pawn her ugly jewelry for her frog. And I thank Robin for coming up with this idea for his Uncle Kermit. :)
I hope they name it Xena. I think that's a cool name. :)
I'm also wondering if they'll have to rewrite the Schoolhouse Rock song, Interplanet Janet, now that there's 10 planets.
Also if they happen start up Sailor Moon again, would they have to create a Sailor Xena?
I too have always fantasized on what the land of K would be like. After Jack climbs the K-stalk. He's greeted by a lady K, named Kay. :) A bunch of K's playing kazoos and flying kites welcome him. Then she invites him to a sports arena where we see kangaroos playing kickball, koalas rowing...
I also remember when Ernie was pretending to be a doctor, Bert asks him when can he tell him he's healthy. Ernie said he needed more school to be an offical doctor, so he replied, "In about 23 years, Bert." That caused Bert to faint. Ernie goes, "Bert fainted! Is there a doctor in the house?"
Thanks for your comments everyone. :) I thought Spamela would fit perfectly as a celebrity announcer. I could tell Richard Hunt does Brad, for he can shriek just like Beaker.
And I kind of thought puberty was a harmless word, where a teen reaches a certain age. Do you think I...
This is a really good series you're writing. :) Seeing old familiar characters like Uncle Deadly, Fleet, and Marvin Suggs, back again. And how Beau misunderstood about, cutting corners, was funny too. Just like his personality. :D
That was another great chapter. I liked how Miss. Piggy called Robin, "mon petite frog", that was cute. :)
And I like how Kermit was wise and ordered varieties of pizzas. I guess he learned from those topping arguments from those Pizza Hut commercials. :)
Thank you for your praises, TogetherAgain. :) Yes, I wanted to have Brad make a reappearance. I haven't seen him in the longest time. That's when Bert seems to be really happy. Whenever his nephew is around. :)

Day 4
(We see Lewis and the Newsman back in their announcer booth.)
LEWIS: Hello, sports fans. Welcome to Day 4 of Battle of the Muppet All-Stars. I’m Lewis Kazagger.
NEWSMAN: And I’m the man with the news.
LEWIS: And as you...
That was another great chapter. With Janice doing her familiar talking about her embarrassing thoughts while everyone's quiet and Lew Zeland's obsession with paper towels once again. :) Good job! :)
Your welcome for your first question. And I can also answer how that Don't Walk sit ended. Kermit got totally frustrated and walked off. Then the Don't Walk sign suddenly sprouted wobbly legs and started to walk off as well.
