I do remember that alphabet skit very well, Ziffel. Jim Henson performed the pink Muppet and Frank Oz performed the green one. It was totally surreal. :)
I know how you feel, Beau. There was a time my computer was in the shop and I was without the internet for the very first time in 4 days. I hope things'll go better for you soon.
Best wishes,
Xerus
I remember Biff singing a song called, "Someone's Gotta Hammer." Biff and Sully were imagining what it would be like if they had different careers. Like doctors, fireman, actors, cooks, writers, farmers, even Presidents of the USA. Biff and Sully were seen without their hemlets. Biff had...
I was born in 1970. But I remember SS was the very first TV show I ever watched. I loved it, except for the few scary skits and cartoons that had me running out of the room. And I'm still watching it to this very day. :)
I remember watching the Bear Christmas special where they took in a homeless dog who was voiced by Dave Goelz. Does anyone remember the name of the dog? I kind of need to know for my fanfic.
Sincerely,
Xerus
I posted this once before, But I think it would be neat if the Muppets did the famous story, Around the World in 80 Days.
Kermit could play the hero, Phileas FROG.
Gonzo could play his sidekick who does all sorts of stunts for travel money.
Miss. Piggy could play the Indian Princess...
I think it was called, "Put it in the Trash Can."
Instead of grouches, the singers were 4 AMs wearing sparkling garbage uniforms. Even Bruno and his can were all covered with sparkles.
Also, the AMs did all the singing while Bruno just stood there going, "Doh, doh, doh, doh, doh, doh!"...
In a skit where monsters were demonstrating, Next to. That green Honker was named Alphonse. And the order went like this. Elmo, Telly, Rosita, Herry, Alphonse, Ingrid, Humphrey, and Zoe.
Penguins are one of my favorite animals, but I also like how the Muppet rats did things as well.
What I thought was interesting was when Rizzo first apperared on the Muppet Show, he was basically a silent character whenever he was with the Muppet gang. He only seemed to talk whenever there...
That was cool how you wrote down the entire song. :)
Also, Bert wasn't really the only one left in the subway. I think the cop might've stayed behind. And there was this purple guy with glasses who did and said nothing throughout the whole skit.
Herry Monster was in that special. He even sang a verse in the Deck the Halls skit. "That's the way the old year passes."
Also Big Jeffy was seen with the Sesame carolers as well.
It seems like they had 7 Honkers on that show.
1. The purple Honker with an orange nose.
2. The orange Honker with a red nose.
3. The aqua Honker with a yellow nose.
4. The dark blue Honker with a green nose.
5. The dark pink Honker with an orange nose and red hair on top.
6. The green...
Thank you again for your kind words about my next chapter. :) Yeah, Count. I had thought about the Cartoon Network's Grim Reaper while writing this. But this was a Muppet Reaper instead of an animated one. And yes, The Ghost of Xmas Yet to Come from MCC would be a good Muppet to play the...
Thank you, Bear. I just had to put in a Honker somewhere in my story. And I thought a witch in that crowd of Muppets would be a nice touch. I'm glad you liked it. :)
I always thought so too. I can imagine a Baby Sam enforcing the rules of the nursery. Especially trying to get Baby Animal to behave, but with no luck.
The Muppet Show seems to show a lot of penguins in almost every episode and in the movies. They even have penguins appearing in skits about Hawaii and the jungle where they were totally out of place.
