Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
What I've just noticed in this skit is when Miss. Piggy tackles Kermit on the ground, you suddenly see an actual Muppeteer's face right near the frogs on the right side. But then they cover him up quickly. I just learned that was Dave Goelz.
I bet those frogs are wondering, "Who is this guy...
I also noticed in the making of that viking number, it showed a villager singing, "Come on and join your fellow man", in Jim's voice. But then it showed Frank operating the same Muppet.
I also noticed when a Muppet stars on the Hollywood Squares. The contestants sometimes try to avoid picking the Muppet as much as they can. I guess these contestants prefer to live in the adult world.
There was kind of a talk spot with Snuffy. Snuffy was on the street and didn't know how to recite the alphabet. Then along came a little girl named Julie. Snuffy asked her to help him remember the alphabet. Julie sat down and held his Snuffle and said each letter while Snuffy repeated. Then...
I remember in the late 80's, a fire happened in the basement at 123 Sesame Street. Everyone ran out and Big Bird wondered where Ernie and Bert were. They said they went on vacation. I'm just imagining the bad shape their apartment must be in since the fire happened in the basement.
I don't see SS as a show just for kids. I see is as art. Where puppeteers, writers, and cartoonists can show off their works and talents. I'm a cartoonist and I've always dreamed about making a cartoon or two for Sesame Street.
Pretty cool fanfic you're writing. I always imagined what the Muppets would be like in high school and which Muppets would be good teachers. I can't wait to read more. :)
I remember in one episode, it showed Sam the Eagle in one of the huge monitors giving some kind of lecture in silence. While in a lower monitor, it showed those tiny frogs from Fraggle Rock dancing around. Then Sam suddenly found one of those frogs on his shoulder. It makes me wonder what...

LEWIS: Hello, sports fans. Welcome back to Day 11 of Battle of the Muppet All-Stars. I am Lewis Kazagger.

LEWIS: Newsie, what are you doing by the door? You’re supposed...
It seems like they grew up Goldilocks. Giving her darker hair, a deeper voice, and made her bigger allowing her to push those poor nursery rhyme kids around.
Does it seem like Goldilocks never thinks about other people when she does these things to Baby Bear and to others? And how about...
I heard that Cookie Monster doesn't eat real cookies because chocolate, oil, and grease can damage a Muppet. He only eats rice cakes painted to look like cookies.
It makes me wonder, does anyone know what kind of things can damage a Muppet? I wonder if Oscar bathes in real mud or fake mud...
Does anyone remember this film from the mid 80s?
It's about a quarter's journey. It shows a quarter lying on the street and someone narrating making it look like the quarter is telling the story. First it shows a painting truck driving by covering the street orange and the quarter as well...
Happy Birthday, Phillip. :)

I remember Zoot had some lines in the Liza Minnelli episode. He tells Liza, "You're too beautiful to be a person. You oughta be a saxophone!"
LIZA: "Does that mean I'm your SAX symbol?"
