Also, I want to revise a statement I said earlier. I said "Black people can't be racist" which, like @D'Snowth said, is partially untrue. ANYONE can be racist, and it isn't just limited to white people. But in the United States, the overwhelming majority of racists are white, and that is BY FAR...
Wow, and we're jerks? Lmfao.
They automatically have an advantage due to the color of their skin, so yes.
Did you not read the link I sent you? It explains white privilege very well and shows that this struggle isn't invalidating your hard work in life, it's just explaining that your skin...
Black people can't be racist. There is a distinct difference between "racism" and "prejudice". I suppose black people can be prejudice against white people, but even then it is NOTHING compared to the racism that black people experience on a daily basis. Racism is prejudice PLUS power. White...
i have no words. you obviously have no idea the **** that people of color have to deal with. i would suggest reading these articles on why white privilege and systemic racism ABSOLUTELY exist:
Sadly, voting in elections doesn't do **** for people's rights in this country. It was protesting and riots that gave us the outcome of the Civil Rights Movement. It was protesting and riots that gave us gay marriage and trans rights. It was protesting and riots that gave women the right to...
i hear what you're saying, i do, but i don't think you realize that this isn't just about cops killing people, it's also about the institutionalized racism in our nation and how our government supports it. people are rioting because they are SICK and TIRED of the racial inequality and oppression...
um... the amount of disrespect for this man's death in this post is absolutely disgusting. this was ABSOLUTELY a product of racism in the police system in our country. the man was held on the ground for almost 9 minutes. if the man was white, that wouldn't have happened.
I already enjoy this way more than the main show, and I've only seen the first episode! Very fun performances from everyone involved (except the Jonas Brothers; as much as I like them, yeah they really sucked in this). Also, this is the first time that I've audibly laughed unironically at...
i love this so much!!!!! great to see all the Fraggles back together! the song was cute, and i think the performers did a great job emulating the original performers. Donna Kimball, in particular, did such an amazing job that i legit thought that it was Kathryn Mullen at first!
I mean, personally, I loved Dhawan's performance, even more so than Simm. His Master seems a lot more angry yet deep within you can see glimpses of melancholy and pain. This Master has been through a lot of ****!
But still, he isn't better than Delgado, that I can agree with.
