Did Miss Piggy ever appear on Sesame Street?

Not anymore...now that they're owned by Disney.

Muppet parody puppets on Crank Yankers

I saw those parody puppets on Crank Yankers, outside the doors of 321. The Kermit parody didn't even remotely resemble Kermit and the Big Bird parody looked like him, but was poorly designed -- you could SEE feathers falling off it.

    I Need Some Advice

No, but there's a number of ways someone can make themselves welcome here. Some work better than others. And I think it goes without saying that everyone (except for trolls, flamers and other troublemakers) is welcome at Muppetcentral. BTW, I think sseta is a 'she', not a 'he'

    I Need Some Advice

You need to learn to like and accept yourself for who YOU are, not what you or someone else thinks you should be. If you think you need to be famous to be happy you are going to be very disappointed. And sseta, this is something that really dosen't have anything to do with Sesame Street or...

Sesame's Dr. Phil parody to premiere February 20

Ah, but that's EXACTLY what Dr.Feel will be doing, no? Let's see how his methods work before condemning them! :D Dr. Phil thanked the muppets and everyone else for being on the show. He also wished congratualtions to Sesame Street on their 35th anniversary. Then he and his wife Robin...

    The Sesame Street Humans

IIRC, there was a 12 inch LP (remember those things?) :smirk: of songs by Bob, but the exact name of the album escapes me at the moment. (Bob's Hits?...Sing Along with Bob?)

Did Miss Piggy ever appear on Sesame Street?

Actually, Rowlf was in one of the "baker" counting skits -- the one about number 9. He sticks his head through a ring with nine light bulbs around it and says "nine lights!" Beautiful Day Monster was in some very early episodes of the first three seasons Sesame Street as well.

    Episode 1364

That's true. And there's also less time per episode to air them in since they changed their format two seasons ago, which meant longer scenes, and also when you take into account that "Elmo's World" fills up the last 15-20 minutes of the show.

DVD Series of every Sesame Street episode ever made

I am in total agreement. And I don’t understand this: When Noggin *was* showing Sesame Street Unpaved, fans were complaining: “They’re showing the same 67 episodes over and over again! They need to show MORE!” But it soon became apparent that not only were “they” not going to do this, but in...

DVD Series of every Sesame Street episode ever made

Isn’t it great that the archive of past posts in these forums go back such a long time? You can come up with some pretty valuable information from just doing a standard search. Here’s what I found on this topic: (Originally posted by “sstvideo” on 3/4/2003.) : So there you have it – the...

    Don Music video clip

I'm not sure if this is old news or not, but I found this classic clip of Don Music completely by accident while doing a random search on the internet. You can watch it here. Note: You'll need QuickTime and a set of speakers for this.

    Muppets on 60 Minutes Special

I was a little disappointed with it. For anyone who didn't see this -- you didn't miss much. Or if you saw the commercial Phil menitoned, you pretty much saw it all: Miss Piggy flirting with Maury Povich. Scooter was visible in the background. That was basically it. No more than a minute. I'm...

    Episode 1364

Why is this pathetic? As I understand it, every year Sesame Workshop goes through their video archives of skits, looking for those considered dated in some way and either removes them from circulation or makes changes to them, depending on the nature and/or quality of the skit. Some skits just...

    Classic Canadian Sesame Street

I found this old essay on customizing Sesame Street for a Canadian audience and mentions something else that was problematic in terms of the original Canadian version: "Because the CBC buys the previous year's version of Sesame Street, certain content will surely be repeated. With most...
