Innnteresting. I don't quite agree with him. There were a few parts of the movie that I found a little saccharine, but they were parts that dealt with Walter, Gary and Mary, not the Muppets themselves. I never felt like the Muppets were trying to be cute in the movie. They WERE cute, but...

I tend to think of the mid-late 90s period as the Muppets' adolescence. Separating from a father figure (forcibly, unfortunately, in this case), heading out on their own, trying to find out who they are. Trying to grow up, and in the process acting more childish than ever. And, like any good...

I think that's a different one--those are board books for the 3-and-under kids' meals. Although, it would be perfect if they had those at the same time as the puppets, wouldn't it? The older kids get the puppets; the wee ones get the Pajanimals books?

No luck here. They had Dr. Suess stuff and Avengers stuff, but no Muppets. I'll have to try again next week.

They know how to use him. I love any time he hunches on screen, opens his eyes wide, growls something, lowers his eyebrows again, and hunches off. Like his part in Habanera. It's comedy gold. Both Frank and Eric do it perfectly. :halo:

I thought it must be something like that. It's still not much of a joke...but I guess that's the point. What I want to know is, is there anything insulting about the bear/Russian thing? Because the little headshake that Kermit gave Fozzie didn't look like a "That's a terrible joke!"...

Well, why choose? They're all amazing characters, and you can love them all.
