This is all stuff given out at the World Premiere of the movie in LA. The bucket was used for popcorn, the playbills were all over the tables at the after party. There must've been hundreds. I grabbed five. :fishy: The Guest badge is something I will treasure forever and always... even though it...
I toooooold you it would be great!! They did cut the best line, though. After Tom Bergeron introduces the clip after Statler and Waldorf, Waldorf says, "There's someone just like him back at the home." Hysterical. The crowd went nuts. But still... what an incredible performance. Gets me so...
Clifford does not appear. Don't get your hopes up to high. It's possible he got cut... but I doubt it. Kevin probably didn't have time to go out and perform.
I was lucky enough to see the movie twice this weekend (more on that later) and I can honestly say that the ending is very, very good. I really enjoy it. The final song is perfect--perfect. It's the most exciting finale a Muppet movie has ever had. It's not as epic as "The Magic Store" or...
The short is attached, yes. It's very good. Not as good as "Hawaiian Vacation" in front of Cars 2, but still a lot of fun. I enjoyed it quite a bit and it's a great lead in for The Muppets.
You HAVE to watch this appearance. I was beyond lucky to get to go to the rehearsals/taping of it and believe me when I tell you that it is stunning. It's amazing what the Muppeteers can do and the segment itself is 100% awesome. Watch it!
Something more for Jerry and no, no Clifford.
Not much Rizzo at all, but a little more than expected. Final number was indeed final, and spectacular.
Link away!! The more people who see it, the better!
No.
I don't remember.
Bill Barretta was Foozie... and unfortunately that's all I really remember. The only ones that spoke at all were Miss Poogy and Foozie, briefly.
I can confirm that the Toy Story short is indeed in front of the movie and it is indeed awesome. Not as good as Hawaiian Vacation, but still very funny. Jane Lynch is a voice in it and she's awesome.
Sorry, no spoilers from the movie from me. You need to see it for yourself and be surprised by the greatness. I did meet Peter Linz, who is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He's a daily reader of The Muppet Mindset and was kind enough to not only sign something for me (as Walter!!) but...
I was extremely fortunate to get an invitation to the cast and crew screening. It wasn't the premiere, but it was before the premiere. It was all thanks to connections I have and Muppet people being the nicest people anywhere.
