Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I'd like to see both, a prequel to DC and a sequel - its a rich world and a trilogy would be great if done right. As for Labyrinth, I'd like to see a sequel, where Sarah and Jareth are both aged.
I just let out a big sigh after watching that youtube vid, I figured I'd be seeing this in the theatre next year, haha - I'd like to at least see it before the world ends.
Haha they do look like happy meal toys, what I'd find even more funny is if someone actually paid that price. I know they are ultra rare, but three thousand dollars?
Great news, I think the puppets were a huge part of the original as well as nearly all of Hensons work - CGI just isnt the same, and it doesnt draw me back to my childhood like puppets do. I hope the new film has the same 80s magic that the original did. I cant wait to see it.
I think its great that Fraggle Rock is back on the air - I usually put a few episodes on the DVR and watch them when I have time. I'm trying to get my nephew involved so he'll grow to like it as well, but he usually only wants to watch Labyrinth, heh.
Yes, that would work well - I wish they had a production blog and would feed us information and images to build some more excitement for this project...
I'm impressed - they must be shooting for blockbuster status - I think we can expect a toy line with the works with a budget that big - they are going to have to really market it and the merchandising should be cool.
A press release is a start - I'm just happy to see things are moving along. I'll be excited when they start releasing production stills from the actual movie.
I remember reading an interview where Jennifer Connelly (who plays Sarah) said that it would be interesting to see a Labyrinth sequel where Sarah was an old woman or something of that nature - and while its a good idea, nothing ever came of it...

I've been working on several Farscape custom micro machines, and thought I'd share them here. I love the Farscape series and wish models or miniatures of the ships were made - since they werent, I decided to make my own!
Moya next to a Star Wars micro machine (to show scale)...
The Farscape tv series was amazing - I own all the boxed sets of each season and the Peacekeeper wars - but you're talking about a comic...its not the same, nor anywhere near as exciting. If Rockne S. O'Bannon wants to wow us again - he should contact the SyFy network about doing a made-for-tv...
