I was watching the Muppet Show and it's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas, and I really loved the look of the old theater and seeing the backstage shot.
Watching the new Muppet movie made me really miss it. It's a shame they didn't stick with the same design. Does anyone else agree?
I guess you...
We don't need new characters taking up screen time from the other characters!
I'd like to see more of the classic Muppets.
After saying this, I don't want to read anymore about this movie! I don't want any spoilers. Excited already!
I don't understand why it wasn't released same time internationally. I think they would have done even better. Some people in UK will be able to order it on DVD at almost the same time it comes out to theaters, which would loose some ticket sales.
I also think that if they had more merchandise...
It would be nice to see Bunsen and Beaker help bring back the electricity in a funny Muppet Labs way with Mary after Tex cuts the power out.
It could have been a very funny scene having beaker running a treadmill or something similar.
I liked Kermit’s "pictures in my head" but children needed something more visual during the second verse as they were getting restless.
Perhaps the Electric Mayhem could have sang a few separate lines of " Pictures in my Head" .
Then it becomes a song not only about Kermit reminiscing, but...
Firstly I really enjoyed the film, but a few things would have made it better for me.
The biggest change would be the editing of the ending. I would rather this....
1. End song followed by the tittle "THE END"
2. Cut to Gonzo coming in with the bowling ball and Tex. (Not showing the shot of...
I've re-thought what I wrote.
It's the editing of the last scene. Too many chops.
Gonzo's bowling ball hit should have come after the " The End" tittle, " NEWS CAPTION,
Then followed by the scene with Gary and Mary. It would have been less messy and rushed.
The Manamana song would not have...
It's not the ending I was disappointed with, it's the editing of it.
I would have liked to see Gonzo come in the bowling ball after the " The End" tittle, followed by the scene with Gary and Mary. It would have been less messy and rushed plus the Manamana song wouldn't have been split.
I loved it.
I wouldn't have minded seeing even more of the Muppethon. Even if it meant cutting time off the first half of the movie.
The ending was too rushed too. I actually thought they were outtakes until I realised it was still the movie.
Maybe they could have has a studibaker as the car.
Even in Muppets From Space all the characters didn't look too different from the Muppet Show.
I guess it's a completely new group of puppet makers now. Maybe they don't have the old patterns for Gonzo, Fozzie and Animal anymore either. Or perhaps they are taking short cuts to reproduce them...
The Muppets have changed very little in appearance in the last 15 years, but in the new film some of the characters have a completely different face. Especially Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal. Was this Disney's decision?
Is the Muppet theatre from the Muppets Movie suppose to be the same Theater from the Muppet Show?
I am curious if it is, or why it looks so different now. Does it give an explanation in the movie?
