    Wishlist Idea: 70 Kermit Moments

Given the official 70th anniversary of the Muppets being celebrated this year, I thought it would be cool if Sesame Workshop would contribute to the anniversary, and do either a DVD or YouTube compilation of 70 Kermit the Frog moments from the show (I thought they were done with physical...

What if Frank Oz performed occasionally?

Yesterday I started thinking: What if Frank Oz did perform on Fraggle Rock, but in more of a guest performer compacity? Like, if he performed just once, or had a character appearing about as often as Jim Henson had? Who would he have been great as? I was thinking maybe he could have been The...

    Little things we've noticed

I would assume Jerry was doing Herry there (even if his voice isn't heard).

    Little things we've noticed

I wonder if Caroll Spinney performed Oscar in C is for Cookie. Seems the background was shot separately, so Frank Oz very well could have been two monsters (though he'd likely do Grover), or Jim could have done Oscar and Billy Monster. Spinney had performed Billy at least twice and he's next to...

    Seeing as Mean Mama

Yeah, the puppet version was used more often. Just about all of the full bodied version’s appearances were as a group of monsters, with no notable solo performances with a guest star, no vocal appearances (well, I think she makes a chuckle in the Leslie Uggams episode).

    Seeing as Mean Mama

Something I was thinking about yesterday. It looks like most of the full bodied monsters performers see through a hole in their mouths. This was confirmed with Sweetums and looks for be the case with Timmy, Doglion, and The Mutations. I always assumed it was the case with the full-bodied Mean...

    Dreams about Muppets...

Last night I dreamt me and my family got up real early in the morning so that I could do something relating to Richard Hunt, and this was not long before I had to go to work (and I start work way early in the morning). This was not a special occasion and not endorsed by Henson, Disney, Sesame...

In the last couple of days it's been "After Today" from A Goofy Movie.

    Questions about anything

Do we know who the announcer for the Playhouse Video promos was? I mean the 7-video and 10-video versions of the Muppet compilation commercials. Recently I saw the Beavis and Butthead episode "It's a Miserable Life", and I wonder if he was the voice of Charlie, their guardian angel. The voice...

Funny Boy: The Richard Hunt Biography

After I heard that he let Terry Angus take over as Storyteller Fraggle with the explanation that he didn't really like the character, I was surprised, she seemed like the kind of character Richard would like and assumed he was really just helping out a fellow performer. Now I believe what he...

Beautiful Day Monster and his resemblance to Sam the Eagle

I've always saw a resemblance between the two. Both being blue and their body/head shapes look a bit similar.

    The "You know what?" thread

For the last few weeks there's been a live stream of Pee-wee's Playhouse (I don't know when it will end... or if it will) so I've been watching a lot of the show for the first time since Adult Swim ran the show in 2006. A few things that are different from what I had remembered: I thought both...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

A video was posted on the complete history of Sesame Street Live... in Louisville, Kentucky. The Complete History Of Sesame Street Live in Louisville Ky (youtube.com) Louisville is across the river from where I live, so it is interesting to me (and I did see some of those shows there). I...

April Fools: Muppets Mayhem Season 2 premiering this fall

I guess also, since I saw this a few days late (but depending on if I paid attention to when it was posted), I would have been suspicious that I hadn't seen posts about it on Toughpigs and social media and such already.

April Fools: Muppets Mayhem Season 2 premiering this fall

Well, I didn't see it until after April 1, but I think I saw you hint at it in another thread (which I didn't know what to make of at first), but normally on April 1 I do think about whether things are a prank (it would be really something if somebody could legitimately fool me on April 1).
