They already were effectively rehashing plot lines since S13, with 16 accelerating it
Literally only looking forward to "All Grown up"
Also, Arthur might get a new VA for S24-25. Current already is sounding old in the recent PSAs
Peeebs (on Twitter or the Arthur Slums forums) actually has the schedule. S25 is the last season (with it and S24 noticeably only having 4 episodes)
I really doubt the ending itself will be impactful...but it'll be a much needed rest for Arthur
The video players suuuuuuuuuuuuuuck for the sites
Cyberchase's for their own web page in particular is insipid. Inconsistent video quality too for S1-7
The peanut allergy one is fairly common. Signs don't typically show immediately depending on the person. The inverse is also true: certain people can outgrow their allergies
Francine though, UGH. Elwood turns 100 was such a good ep too, and then they desecrate it like that
S1 had continuity issues with Sue Ellen and Kate, S3 Muffy was in the same Kindergarten as George, S4 Nemo suddenly hates Pal, etc
I find it funny Hirsch co tried to excuse Brain's height by saying he was held back. Then post S16 way too many things contradict worse than earlier seasons
Hmm, ambitious. Sentence mixing was iffy at the beginning, but it gets better the more it goes along. Only real issue is too many unedited parts, and overall sluggish pacing
To answer your question, yes
Something I learned recently, the VHS tapes with the barcodes on the left were for the Actimates toys. the barcode outright had full audio stored that activates the toy at certain points. It's pretty cool, but for reruns, instead of using the footage before these edits they simply zoom in...
Pretty Typical. PBS Kids's rerun schedule is nutty
It's also annoyingly why producers don't need to care to do a full 24 ep season, and instead opt for 10 or less. And a season lasts a year for PBS instead of half a year
To be fair, there were way more episodes per season back then
Over 100 a season vs 26 now
So segments not being used all the time for new material shouldn't be unexpected. Though the opposite is true for mass reusing a segment....
Anyone else weirded out that Mrs. Finch didn't have actual feathers except for her hair and "fingers?"? Even the other bird characters had more in comparison
