Henson Co can't do anything but lousy CGI kids shows these days. Although, with the buzz the sequel rumor caused, it may be possible to get funding for it. The question is, do we really want a sequel/prequel/whatever to Labyrinth?
Just as long as Prairie Dawn isn't completely replaced by that insipid Abby Cadabby character. She deserves retirement after all the great work she did.
People never gave her enough credit as a comedian. She was an excellent joke writer, and had impeccable delivery. It's a shame a lot of people couldn't look past her harsh exterior to see her brilliance.
People, yeah, Jim Henson wanted to sell the company to Disney, but he was planning to be involved in all the projects, in some capacity. It's completely different. I don't really think this is what Henson had in mind. Not that it matters now.
Agreed with both of you. And if people are so certain that their opinion is correct, where is the harm in debating it? That's insecurity.
I remember back when The Muppets was coming out, I posted some kind of opinion against the cult of Disney. I received a warning for my post from the admins...

I guess they didn't get as much interest as they hoped for. Not only did they not release a proper book, but they included five winners instead of one.
It's not that John Henson doesn't "deserve" a banner, but Jane Henson was the co-founder of the Muppets, and Jerry Nelson was one of the first performers. It's different - no less sad or somber, but it's still different.
