Labyrinth sequel in development - Variety report

Yeah, they're making money, but where is it going? Not towards better projects. Towards Fraggle Rock animated spin-offs and other junk.

Labyrinth sequel in development - Variety report

Henson Co can't do anything but lousy CGI kids shows these days. Although, with the buzz the sequel rumor caused, it may be possible to get funding for it. The question is, do we really want a sequel/prequel/whatever to Labyrinth?

    Muppeteer Fran Brill's official retirement

Just as long as Prairie Dawn isn't completely replaced by that insipid Abby Cadabby character. She deserves retirement after all the great work she did.

    R.I.P Joan Rivers (1933-2014)

People never gave her enough credit as a comedian. She was an excellent joke writer, and had impeccable delivery. It's a shame a lot of people couldn't look past her harsh exterior to see her brilliance.

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

People, yeah, Jim Henson wanted to sell the company to Disney, but he was planning to be involved in all the projects, in some capacity. It's completely different. I don't really think this is what Henson had in mind. Not that it matters now.

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

Agreed with both of you. And if people are so certain that their opinion is correct, where is the harm in debating it? That's insecurity. I remember back when The Muppets was coming out, I posted some kind of opinion against the cult of Disney. I received a warning for my post from the admins...

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

Do you live in some magical fairlyland dictatorship where everyone shares your extremely limited view of the world and no one ever has a differing opinion?

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

Towards the end, he clarifies his feelings towards the current incarnation of the Muppets. The whole thing is very insightful.

    Author Quest Results

http://www.toughpigs.com/author-quest/ I guess they didn't get as much interest as they hoped for. Not only did they not release a proper book, but they included five winners instead of one.

    I believe they're puppets.

Why has no coverage been put up about John Henson's death?

It's not that John Henson doesn't "deserve" a banner, but Jane Henson was the co-founder of the Muppets, and Jerry Nelson was one of the first performers. It's different - no less sad or somber, but it's still different.
