Your Thoughts: Muppets Haunted Mansion on Disney+

Heh, I like how I even heard them use the classic Castle Thunder sound effect like the original Disneyland Haunted Mansion (the Disney World Magic Kingdom version replaced it with new thunder sound effects as part of the 2007 renovation), and the same scream when in the Stretching Room! (BTW...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Though to be fair, at least Oasis Animation's work on the show is a noticeable step up over 9 Story Entertainment's animation, despite being Flash-esque. And it seemed to improve a bit more with Season 22. But even with that, why am I not surprised Glen Kennedy's Arthur storyboards look a lot...

    Video: Muppets Haunted Mansion Trailer

OMG, I can't believe they've brought back Johnny Fiama and Sal Manilla! Good to see a couple more of the "Muppets Tonight"-original characters get used again besides Pepe the King Prawn, Bobo the Bear and Big Mean Carl!

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Yep, I actually really enjoyed "The Last Day." I particularly liked the plot about D.W. starting kindergarten, now attending the same elementary school as Arthur! It was also nice to see Muffy help out with Emily, and Alex finally playing a more prominent role in an episode after years of being...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

The trailer for "Arthur's First Day." Once again, they're going to throw continuity out the window by having Mrs. Grimslid be the gang's fourth grade teacher, the no-nonsense teacher Buster was dreading in "The Last Day" (though when she was shown as a P.E. teacher, like in "Arthur's...

    Hanna-Barbera

That's right. I used a picture of Dr. Disguise as Richie, as I was initially only aware about that one. Richie's dog Dollar also got impersonated twice; first in the first season episode "Counterfeit Dollar," which is based off a comic book story, and again in the aforementioned "Villains...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I can understand they replaced the original 1974 "NEWS FLASH" logo with the 1986 version due to the old one being so large overscan would've badly cropped it on TV sets of the time, but it's too bad they didn't retain Jerry Nelson's unique announcer spiel ("We take you now to Kermit the Frog for...

    Hanna-Barbera

I've noticed for a while now that it seems during the Hanna-Barbera studio's existence (1957-2001), they were fond of doing episodes where the main story, or at least some kind of plot point, involved a main character being impersonated by a villain (usually a villain-of-the-week) disguised as...

Jeffrey Scott sues Disney over "Muppet Babies" reboot!

Happened a month ago, but Jeffrey lost the lawsuit... No surprise, knowing Disney.

So Sesame Street is expanding its diversity cast of Characters to explain race, but they forgot a certain character of the past...

I also noticed that it looks like Elijah was made out of the same Anything Muppet pattern Kingston Livingston III was.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Yesterday I made a pretty surprising discovery regarding one of the show's background music tracks! The disco theme that was heard in such episodes as "Flaw and Order," "Strangers on a Train," "Buster the Lounge Lizard," "Through the Looking Glasses," "Sue Ellen and the Last Page" and of course...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

In "Freaky Tuesday," Mr. Ratburn mentions they have a new eighth-grade teacher. So all of a sudden Lakewood Elementary is a K-8 school? In previous seasons fifth grade was the highest there, like a typical K-5 elementary school. Though they can change things; my first elementary school where I...

Muppet Show Disney+ disclaimers under criticism while fans thankful for series

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Yeah, I noticed how by 1983 they generally started using only one stock recording of Jerry Nelson's "We take you now to Kermit the Frog with another fast-breaking news story!" It was heard on most Sesame Street News segments made from 1983 to 1989; a few exceptions include Dr. Nobel Price's...

Muppet Show Disney+ disclaimers under criticism while fans thankful for series

I can understand this, but what's really silly is how "The Simpsons" has far worse stereotypes and such than "The Muppet Show," and that show does not contain any sort of disclaimer at the start of any episodes on Disney+ containing such potentially offensive content! I may need to do a Big Bad...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

JonnyTBird uploaded THIS in English, a Sesame Street News segment that only aired once on the show in 1989! I will admit, I thought hearing Marty Robinson doing the News Flash announcer spiel was pretty funny. I'm guessing that during Season 20 they tried experimenting with the News Flash...

    Little things we've noticed

While this is technically from "A Muppet Family Christmas," it still counts because of this thing featuring the Sesame Street Muppets. A random thing I noticed is when the Sesame Street gang finishes "Deck the Halls" with that final "laaaa", most of the Muppets toss their heads back, but the...

TV Alert: Sesame Street at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

I watch that every year too, along with "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street!" My brother also likes to watch "A Muppet Family Christmas" every year with his girlfriend, and usually treats it as the only "Sesame Street"-related material he's willing to watch.

TV Alert: Sesame Street at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Obviously it was pre-recorded. I know the Broadway performances have been pre-recorded this year, too.
