Jazzy Spies vs. Pinball Number count

Pinball for the music. Spies for the creative animation. Still love both, can't quite choose. That's like asking a parent to choose a favorite amongst their own children.

    Is Jerry Nelson okay?

    Jerry also performed Frazzle. :)

The muppet you are describing above is Little Chrissy. He was blue with feathery tangerine colored hair. Little Chrissy

    Bert's nephew

Cookie Monster's little cousin. Yes, as I remember they only called her "Cousin Monster" & she never had a real name in sketch.

I am trying to find the song Manuh Manuh by Animal

Both lyrics are indeed correct & as a matter of fact, the song was used elsewhere too from what I have heard. I have heard the story that the song was actually in a foreign porn flick. I have a hard rock, fast paced version of the song. I put in on one of my mix CDs a few years ago. Cannot...

What happened to all the classic clips?

I turned on my tv one morning to find some sort of visual to dry my eyes out & put me to sleep, & I jumped out of bed because old SS clips were being shown. It was about 7am, & I turned on the volume & noticed that the clips were in spanish. It was Plaza Sesamo! They still run the old clips. How...

    STUPIDEST classic Sesame Street skit!

That's what I miss about the old SS. It isn't as educational as it used to be. We should be glad they mentioned the actual breeds of dogs, instead of dumbing it down with the 3 letter generalized term "dog" :sympathy:

    Classic clips DVD

Wouldn't it be great if PBS for that matter took in the donations to get the clips, then offered them up to paid members? That might pull in some more member support during the pledge times. Kind of like a "Thank you for your monetary support" gift. Who wants a crappy tote bag, if you can have a...

    Clips Tranformed to Avatars

Hi guys! I would love to whip up some .Gif animations, Livejournal icons, avatars & banners from classic SS clips. I lost my hard drive back in February, so I lost just about all my clips. Unfortunately, I need to start over. If anyone has any clips they could send me, I can make you your very...

I need the name of a character

I made a post about the teeny little superguy quite some time ago. I used to wonder myself why nobody mentioned him. I put his theme song on a CD of mine, & not even my friends remember the clip back from when we were all small children. I just wish I had video clips of him, because I can make...

    Why isn't Skeeter a Muppet?

Also, Bunsen & Beeker were never really considered "regular" muppet babies. They would come over & visit the nursery from time to time though. I always wondered why they didn't choose to make a muppet baby version of Janice. They could have made her into a cute little muppet baby. :flirt...

    Favorite Animal Films

I always did like the flamingo clip. I remember thinking they were the strangest birds I ever saw. When you are about 4 or 5, a pink bird, with long legs, that eats with its head upside down seems kinda surreal.

    Favorite number songs

!!! I thought I was crazy, because I remembered the 5 baby oyster song, but I don't recall anyone else mentioning it. I thought maybe it was a strange figment of my imagination, but you clearly described what I remember. Thanks! :)

    Worst animated sketch ever!

Didn't that sketch have a spanish dubbed version? I could have sworn it did.

REQ: The cat trying to get into the can of cat food...

I'd love to get my hands on that one too, although I do have it on VHS. I would really like it as an .AVI file. The owner interupts her call saying "Oh my gosh! Wait a minute!" & opens the can, the cat faints & his head falls face first into his food.

    Origami Bert and Ernie

Do you miss Sesame Street being age appropriate?

I think Zoom has some pretty neat ideas & projects for kids. I have watched the show with younger cousins, & I have picked up some really great ideas, games & projects to share with other young children that I know. I spend alot of time with my friend's children, whom I occasionaly look after, &...

Do you miss Sesame Street being age appropriate?

There should never be anything shameful about educational fun. Nostalgia is the greatest feeling ever, & Sesame Street is full of fond memories that helped educate & entertain so many people in the last 30+ years. Sometimes it takes a good amount of years to really appreciate the sweetness of...
