Heh, the last time I logged in was nearly 3 years ago, You last visited: 03-26-2007 at 04:11 AM and my last post was 4 years ago.
I have been lurking these boards for years, but rarely do I feel the need to contribute to the discussion on hand. In this sense, I find it peculiar that I recognize...
So I use to watch this all the time when I was a kid but I haven't seen an ep in many years, so I was watching a clip on YouTube, and man was it still funny and it really played off my adult sensibilities. Like the nostalgic value was working in I'm sure but for a show aim toward toddler it...
I believe Song of the South has been #1 on there list of most requested dvds for years and that has yet to be released so sometimes it really depends on the company.
Depends how many Disney has left in stock and then they need to press more, but I don't think it'll go up since everyone probably found another place to buy it.
Online petitions(no offense to Warrick) don't do much mainly because anyone can sign them. But if I'm correct they had put out a product within a very short time of getting the rights and then just within a year are releasing season sets I'd say that's quite good.
I better sell my copy of a Muppet Movie, Muppets take Manhatten, and Widescreen version of Muppet Christmas carol quick! Then again perhaps I should hold on to the muppet movie for the screen test....
I was watching TMS Season 1 DVD set and it seem to me that the episodes were out of order because Scooter shows up in the first episode and then a couple of episode later he's introduced and acts like it his first time on the show and he is asking for a job.
Perhaps it's because it's a cinematic masterpiece or perhaps it's for a scantly-clad Jessica Alba :D All kidding aside it's fine not to like a movie but Sin City to an ignorant person might be distasteful but like I said it is a cinematic masterpiece and was probably one of the best films...
I think rests on how well TMS Box Set does and that seems to be doing awesome so I woudln't be surprised down the line if we see MB sets because there's obviously a huge muppet fanbase out there, and in actuallity they have people that are sole TMS fans and MB fans, and then most of us are both...
That's a tad ungrateful all considering it's a show that hasn't seen the light of day in 20 years and I have great respect foR HIT to go out on a limb and release season sets so quickly just because the fans e-mail them about it. These are about the same amount if not more than the Batman TAS...
So I bought the set yesterday didn't get to watch it till today, I just finish the first disc. Let me say this the first two episodes suck then it seems to get better and better till the end where it's really grown on you and it's great. Obviously this is a show that didn't find it's groove till...
At the Circuit City I went to buy the muppets(day it came out) by 2:00 apparently it was near sold out I got the last copy! Great news...
P.S. Hopefully Muppets Wizard of Oz sells horribly to send the point to Disney that Muppets are alive and well but we don't want to see anymore crappy...
I agree there as I said in my original psot Dreamworks animated films have no replay value but on the flip-side they bring in easier and more profitable returns in the short-run but in the long run as has been seen with the exceptionally low dvd sales of Dreamworks Animated films it's not a good...
I don't hate disney merely pity them but sooner or later someone will come in with vision and clean up shop but I really don't care there is nearly a 100 years of material for us to watch, nearly 30 years of the muppets, who really cares anymore if they come out with new material? Perhaps it's...
Dreamworks and Disney animation are very different, or I should say Pixar since Disney animation department gone to crap but perhaps Valient and Chicken Little will change my mind. Dreamworks is much more superficial and relies more on pop-culture jokes, hip new songs, and much more in the now...
***? This is uncalled for since a lot of time and effort went into this set and sometimes it's unavoidable the only thing I'd be annoyed at is the cutting of the original pilot but really that's something I'd watch once so I don't really care.
The common misconception about Eisner is that he's a terrible guy who ruin things at Disney. SImply not the case, he made Disney what it is today along with Frank Wells and Jeff Katzenburg. Well Frank died and Jeff left to go make Dreamworks and Eisner was never the creative guy, he was the...
