I was watching The Muppets Take Manhattan today, and I kind of think that the way Steve has been since Jim's untimely death is the way Kermit was with selling the show. I think since the very beginning Disney has had some kind of plan for the Muppets, and Steve knowing these characters the way...

I'm quite shocked more fans are not upset about this. Sesame fired the older cast members, and it's like the world was coming to an end. Disney does this to Steve and people are just like meh Disney had the right. What?

I have and I do understand! Steve was trying to protect the Muppets! As far as I'm concerned he could have held them at gun point and that would be ok with me.

The Muppets Studios might, but Disney clearly dose not!

I'm at a loss for words......I read this news on the way home, in a car full of people trying to hold back the tears. I hope Muppet fans will be willing to accept Mat as well as they did Steve.

Nothing has been said about either Muppet Vision or A new Muppet movie from Disney or Muppet Studios. So untill we hear more real facts these rumors are false.
