I know that for a long time there where talks that they where going to keep Rowlf silent after Jim's passing out of respect. I think there should be that same kind of respect in place for Richard, and Jerry, and now Steve. They are the ones that created these...
Well in my humble opinion Wembley, Rizzo, Bean, and any other character Steve has preformed, and helped create should remain silent. Until Steve can either come back or pick who he would like to take over the character for him.
Well I have been criticized heavily for my thoughts on the fandom when it comes to Disney's Muppets. Since 2004 I've always thought the fans needed to become more united and be able to use that unity to have a large and loud voice regarding the Muppets.

Well they do have that live concert at the Hollywood Bowl, and I'm sure Steve is not going to be there. Plus Kermit is the main character of the Muppets, and he would have to be recast-ed.
Well I think that Steve is thinking that this is a bit like the issue the Muppets had in 2004. If I recall correctly, fans where the one who spearheaded that whole issue, and I think that is what Steve is wanting to happen with this current issue as well.
Yes I honestly think so. I think that is the real reason he even started his blog in the first place. He is not calling out for a boycott of the Muppets or Disney, but from all of his posts it seems like it's been one giant call to action to Muppet fans. Just my thought.
