I also really love Ernest
I'm not as big of a fan as the rest of you as I've only seen some of the movies but I still love him
My favorite is Ernest goes to Camp
Here's one I made from my own design. She's supposed to be an assistant for a villain character I recently created. If any of you have name suggestions please let me know
About Dave Goelz only doing voices. You might notice that the last few Gonzos used throughout the decade look bigger (and kinda fatter) and a friend of mine who met someone from Puppet Heap years ago told me that when gonzo was rebuild he had to be built that way because as Dave got older he had...
Yeah it's weird Ernie got a toy but here something even weirder, the Grouchland toys were apparently promotion for the home video Elmo in Grouchland Sing and Play which makes even less sense given that Cookie wasn't featured in that at all
Thought I'd mention this. Going back to what I said about Cookie always appearing alongside Elmo when it comes to toys. And also what I said about Cookie only appearing in small scenes in 1990's productions. Despite Cookie only having one scene in Elmo Saves Christmas and only having a very...
I probably shouldn't reply to this old thread but I just want to say I found this show on Tubi and I absolutely LOVE it. The setting, the characters, the puppetry, the humor. I love everything about it

I know it's been an incredibly long time since I've posted here but I will keep everyone updated on what I've been up to lately. I finished several puppets I will post in a bit and I am working on a Cheshire Cat puppet who you will see hopefully tommrow
Oh, I did not know that. You learn something new everyday
Also I believe Sid (not sure if Marty was with him) was a guest at the premiere for the 2011 Muppet movie
Bert has more character to him than Cookie. The only reason he was probably used less was because let's face it, Bert does NOT work as a solo character. Ernie has had plenty of solo sketches so it sort of works for him but when you're writing for Bert you have to write for Ernie too which is...
