I don’t know how to react to this. On the one hand, this was one of my favorite PBS shows as a kid. It seems that this time next year, SST will be the only one left. On the other, it’ll be nice for the show to finally be put out of its misery.

In order, here’s what I’ve arranged the most popular, most marketable, most likely on Sesame Workshop’s part, and also a few of my favorite segments...

The closest I ever got were school trips to the zoo (to learn about animals, obviously), a park (again, to learn about nature), and a movie theater (to see a nature documentary on bears). All had an underlying educational purpose, and I’m not even gonna mention the career centers.

(sigh) It’s still July, and a Halloween store already opened up on Polaris Parkway. I guess I’m kicking the thread off this year.
