I understand the disappointment, but then again there were a lot of celebrities for this one big event. So the overall appearances of the Sesame Street gang was bound to be brief.

Apparently the Sesame Street Gang will make an appearance during this one-time television event, but given the amount of people already set to show up during the event I wonder if we could have enough time for the Sesame Street gang ?

I am kind of surprised it was that short given the promo showcased that we may have seen other members of the cast and also appearances from Nina and Alan. Still an enjoyable special none the less and it was kind of fun seeing Virtual Cooking with Cookie. :insatiable:

The Muppets take Manhattan and let just say the ending of THAT movie is what makes it a great Muppet Movie to me.

I am hoping for an appearance, but I am thinking we may not be able to see Big Bird for this special considering the costume and the preparation for the character.

I did enjoy seeing that too and it's a bit fitting given the both of them were on the show when it all began. It brings out the smile whenever you see Bob and/or Big Bird/Oscar sing on the show together.

I want to see it just to see how the movie Sonic turns out after all that hard work and rework on the character.

This also answers the question of whether or not we would see any of the Muppets at the memorial service too.
