John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together DVD

I know this special is from 79, and there are no PERFECT copies anywhere, but every one I try to order on the net is really "not that great" quality. I have a crystal clear copy I recorded off of the Disney Channel a long time ago, but when I try to convert it to a file to burn for DVD, the...

Questions about Muppets Photo+Frame and Henson Autograph

Muppetperson, the pic you have of Kermit only - do you know if it was signed by Jim or Steve? I have an Art of The Muppets book with just about the same signature, and I really don't know which one of them signed it.

Museum of the Moving Image creating puppet and prop gallery for Jim Henson

To me, from what I read, it sounds more like an exhibit is being planned at the Center, and not an entire wing :boo:

Museum of the Moving Image creating puppet and prop gallery for Jim Henson

I emailed the Puppetry Center in Atlanta, and this is the response I got. While not saying specifically that it has been cancelled altogether, to me it sounds like the future collection will be downsized, or it won't be "THE" definitive Henson exhibit as originally planned. I might be wrong...

Museum of the Moving Image creating puppet and prop gallery for Jim Henson

With the recent news of the Henson family donating 500 pieces to the New York museum, does anyone know if they are cancelling their donation to the Center of Puppetry Arts in Atlanta? I know there was/is a delay in building the Henson wing there, but do you think it means that The Hensons have...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

What was wrong with Richard's life? He was a gay man - so what? So am I. I'm proud of him. He did nothing wrong. That was a ridiculous comment. And as for the whole Kevin issue - he didn't rape anyone. Was it a dumb thing to seek considering his career? Sure. But for goodness sake, it was...

When will The Muppet Show Seasons 4-5 and Muppets Tonight arrive on DVD?

At Target, they are displaying seasons 1-3 alongside the new movie, and also offering a 6 episode sampler as a bonus with some copies. Hopefuly the Disney marketing geniuses will release the next 2 seasons soon to keep riding the DVD's wave of popularity and stretch out the Mupper sales more.

With the release of MCC so close to Jim's passing, does anyone know if at least the germ of the idea for the movie might have originated with Jim?
