Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

This is great! I love the interplay between Steve and Eric especially - it's just so natural here. :)

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

Hey, to each his and her own. But I must disagree with you on one thing. Muppet fans have never been, and never need to be in 100% agreement about everything to be identified as muppet fans. We are not a monolith. Please don't assume that there is only one way to understand or interpret...

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

As far as that one goes, it's because Sam never ever likes to associate with "those weirdos!" He's a perpetual muppet-denier, even as he can't live without 'em!

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2014-03-30/news/chi-box-office-noah-20140330_1_domestic-theaters-box-office-imax-theaters The oh-so-punny headline reads, 'Noah' rains down on 'Divergent', 'Muppets' to win box office Now, if we could have just gotten Russell Crowe as a Noah cameo, maybe...

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

I agree. I'm sorry that you were unable to enjoy MMW. I agree with a lot of the points you have made about it, though I think it may grow on me over time.

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

Yeah, it's pretty pivotal, I would say. Ruhanna, I just wanted to tell you that I've really enjoyed reading your thoughts about the movie! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

One random question - there was one member of the Gulag who looked quite a bit like David Hasselhoff (to me anyway). But it wasn't though, right? Can anyone name the actor I'm referring to??

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

Wow - I haven't posted here in forever, though I do lurk from time to time. I've been following this thread pretty closely and enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts about the movie. I think it so refreshing to see people posting thoughts and being respectful even when not agreeing about...

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

I agree - it would have been a little better if they included the Muppets singing over We Built this City. The Muppets make everything better - even bad songs. Really interesting about MMJ writing songs for the Electric Mayhem! I really do hope the EM get a song for the next movie. :P

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Well, I'm also very late to the discussion. I probably don't have anything much to say that hasn't been said. I also enjoyed it VERY MUCH!!! So did my wife, 2-year old daughter, and 2-year old nephew (and both grandmas too!). We were all totally absorbed and enchanted. Saw it opening...

Fan Poll: Favorite Henson Family Christmas Production

I guess for me, The Christmas Toy is a little slow-paced, so I'd put it 3rd on the list. My 2-year old loved it at first, but seemed to get a little bored so we didn't finish it together. I'm not giving up on her, however! I do really love it, and we'll try it again sometime. For me, it's...

Fan Poll: Favorite Sesame Street Christmas Production

I agree, folks, Christmas Eve on SS has it by a landslide. One of the all-time greats.

Fan Poll: Favorite Henson Family Christmas Production

I'm a HUGE fan of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. Honorable mentions go to Bells of Fraggle Rock and The Christmas Toy.

Fan Poll: Favorite Muppet Christmas Production

I'm not sure I've seen the Christmas John Denver special either. I do have the Rocky Mountain Holiday one, though. Let me jump on the popular bandwagon here, I really LOVE LOVE LOVE MFC, and I hope that some day somewhere they rerelease it here in the U.S. , particularly if they can do it as...

    "The Muppets" Official Movie Trailer

Gosh, I haven't posted here in forever, but golly these muppet teasers/trailer are something else... I think the trailer was not quite as polished or funny as the teasers. However, it certainly had some great moments. No one has mentioned a ******-off looking Animal playing triangle...

New Muppet Movie opens Christmas Day 2011

I, for one, hope to bring my family on Christmas (my daughter will be 2 1/2 by then!) She already loves the Muppets at almost a year. Yay! :)

New Henson GSN show: Late Night Liars

This looks flippin' awesome! I love the concept, and I think it is high-time for another adult Muppet show. The characters seem well-conceived, and if they get the writing and pacing right, I think this show could last (we'll see). I agree that Shelly Oceans looks a lot like Lucy the Sl*t...

James Bobin to direct Muppets new theatrical movie

I am a HUGE HUGE "Flight of the Conchords" fan. If you all haven't checked out that show, you simply must. Great comedic pacing, amazing musical numbers, it's brilliant. To me, Bobin seems like an excellent pick for the new Muppet movie. I think he will take the Muppets to the next level...
