I watched the pitch reel for the Jim Henson Hour on youtube. YT is a Muppet goldmine. They have almost everything except super obscure stuff like The Ghost of Faffner Hall.
I'm a huge fan of the POP series since they have so many licenses and are all the same size. It's nice to have uniform Superheroes, Disney Characters, Horror character, and now Muppets!
As obsessed with the Muppets as I am, I felt the film missed the mark. A few things I would have changed:
1. NO 80s Robot
2. More Muppet chaos (Monsters, explosions, Muppets being eaten by other Muppets)
3. Electric Mayhem songs...just one?
4. A script that felt like more of a fun nostalgia...
Dr. Teeth. Unfortunately I wasn't really collecting anything at the time so I wasn't loyal to the toy line. I wish I was, because I remember seeing super cheap Muppets figures in Suncoast at the time going for insane amounts on ebay now.
