    Not to add fuel to the fire, but...a friend of mine in Australia told me that they have "elmo's world" in the afternoon as a 15min show and SS is 30min in the morning. I guess they cut 15min that they don't like... (Sorry if this has been discussed before. I searched the forum but didn't...

    Elmo takes over Sesame Street

    What I find 'funny' about this is that none of my son's friends (or my son) are really into Elmo. Most of the kids in our playgroup/school love Cookie Monster. Even in the older classes (up to kindergarden) I don't see a lot of Elmo influence.

    My son (~2years old) and I have seen up to Episode #4037 (Super Grover's cape). I sit/dance/point things out/etc every episode with him. Reactions so far: My son REALLY misses Monster Time. He has waited for it everyday then sadly looks at me saying, "mnst?" (or something that sounds like it)...
