I bought it just recently and I actually enjoyed it. Fresh idea, good characters and interesting plot. The part where you see the young Jim Henson sealed the deal for me, without that I probably wouldnt have liked the movie.
What got me is when I saw The Muppets Take Manhatten for the first time. The part where Kermit is very happy that he got the muppets into Broadway, he gets off the phone and walks across the road and the car hits him. I know he couldnt possibly have been killed off but it still saddened me and...
Personally I enjoy both performances but if I where to pick my favourite I would say Jim. I grew up on that version of Kermit, that voice. Steve comes very close it and I as well as so many other people will commend him for taking on the role so gracefully whilst doing a terrific job...
The most recent dvds I bought where today. A 3-pack of 'Muppets Take Manhatten'/'Muppets From Space'/'Kermits Swamp Years'. I bought it because I didnt have those 3 movies on dvd and when I saw it in the shops I couldnt resist. I also bought 'Muppets Wizard of Oz' on too.
