Someone mentioned that we've had Elmo is 12 episodes already.
Anyone think this is the same reason we see Murry so much. Joey and Kevin are on staff, a lot of the rest of the team are free agents. It's cheaper to use staff Muppeteers?
I just watched the Mary Mary epsiode. It was very cool and old school. No Abby, No Elmo. And we've gotten more Bob this season that the prior 3 combined! :-)
I've enjoyed the episodes.
I was actually scheduled to be a contestant on the show, but was bumped. I now wish I played up my facination with the muppets! My daughters would have loved watching me on with the Muppets.
I did get on another show at least. I'm going to be on Catch 21 on the...
Cowmonster Pair Hidden Gem
I think I caught it. In the opening shot of Chris, Telly and Elmo in Hoopers Store, on the right hand side of the screen in the backround. There were pictures on the wall. I think one was I think David, and perhaps the other propritors of Hoopers. Just a thought...
Format Suggestion
I was thinking about the block format. I think a slight tweek would make it a lot more palitible for all.
Rotate the mini-show's (Abby,Murry,Bert & Ernie) to take up one segment of the show. That would leave 9-12 minutes for additional inserts supporting the curriculumn...
My thoughts on the season premire:
The good:
The Street story was excellent. Bob had more dialogue and screen time in this episode than the past 2-3 seasons combined. I didn't pick up the Mr. Looper hidden gem til I saw it here. I thought just having Barkley was the gem.
Murry's letter and...

L'Shanah tova!
The Muppets are valuable and important properties to the Walt Disney Company. It would be foolish for Disney not to have understudies ready for all the characters. Perhaps this is just a case of the understudy filling in for the main guy. It's also important to have someone ready for when a...
I was just thinking this morning. There is some precedent for Steve being unavailable for his characters at times. John Tartagula(sp) performed Ernie for the 2nd Season of Play with Me Sesame. I've seen a clip of his performance, it's definitley different. Steve has since done Ernie appearances...
Hey all,
Has Bob joined Loretta Long in the 1 appearance a year club? Has either of them talked about this anywhere? I would imagine they've semi-retired but want to hit the 40 year milestone? It seems a lot of work to go down to the street for one scene a year?

I had noticed that the Laundromat had the same outdoor bench that the Fix-It Shop and Mail-It Shop had.
Given the state of the economy and the improvement in Toster Quality over the last few years. It is conceivable that a laundromat had to replace the fix it shop. ;-)
