Your Thoughts: New Muppet Central Forum Features

I like the new layout and the fact that the forum isn't crammed into a narrow area anymore.

Your Thoughts: Muppet Central Forum Upgrade May 26, 2018

When are you going to stop forcing things to be a maximum of 768px wide? It looks weird having all that empty space on either side of the forum.

Fan Poll: Favorite Sesame Street Christmas Production

My choice is also Christmas Eve on Sesame Street in part because it's the only one I've ever seen. I have fond memories of watching it on TV every year as a kid in the 80s and early 90s.

    A few suggestions

1024x768 doesn't work too well on widescreen displays. Besides that, I'm not going to switch to a lower resolution just to make this site appear wider.

    A few suggestions

I would like to see the forum made wider. I have a 15.6" laptop with 1280x800 resolution and about 2/3rds of the page is wasted on either side of the forum.

    Comics?

In terms of comic books, I pretty much just read Archie comics these days, but when I was a kid I also liked Disney and Harvey comics. As far as comic strips in the paper go - my favorite right now is Pearls Before Swine, but I also love Zits, Get Fuzzy, Dilbert, Dinette Set and numerous others.

    Muppet Magic

My copy of the Muppet Magic DVD arrived today, and I thought it was great. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Muppet Magic is a DVD with 19 classic Muppet sketches from The Ed Sullivan Show, including the 1966 debut, the original "Java" and "Mnah Mnah" sketches and several...

    Penguins or rats?

While the "Well excuuuuuuse us for living!!!!!" line in Muppets Take Manhattan is hilarious, I have to go with the rats, because they were all given individual personalities and were always up to something (for instance, in Muppet Treasure Island, Rizzo turned the treasure hunt into a cruise...

    The Great Santa Clause Switch

This has a lot of Ed Sullivan sketches on it. While I haven't seen it yet (I just ordered it), it seems to be really good. I would love to see them put all the old Muppets TV specials and TGSCS on DVD at some point. EDIT: Hmmm... Looks like ToughPigs has exceeded their bandwidth limit again.

    "To Morrow"

Just in case anyone is wondering about the town mentioned in the song (episode 6 of The Muppet Show if you haven't seen it yet...), Morrow is a real town. It's about 27 miles northeast of Cincinnati. More info can be found at http://www.morrow-today.org.
