I believe the Grue that he is referring to is a creature from the world of the Zork games. The Grue was a monster that lived in the dark and you were only in danger of being eaten by it if you had no light. The avatar that Grail has is pretty much all anyone would see of the Grue. If you...
Thanks for the reply, Ken. It's good to know that you've given it some thought, at least. The more I think about it, the more I would probably prefer just articulation so I can open his mouth as much or as little as I want.
There's a joke there somewhere.
Sweetums
This may have been suggested before, but I just had a thought (it hurt, too).
If, and when, you make Sweetums, I'm guessing he would probably be one with an articulated jaw. This may be a stupid idea, but I wonder if it would be possible to put some sort of loose spring mechanism...
Sorry, I thought you would know anything that might be happening with the toy line.
As far as why would it happen? I don't know. I do know that lots of things change when companies change hands, if that is what's happening, so anything is possible. The other posts in this thread about this...
Dang, I was really wanting some Skeksis. Oh well, I figured as much judging by Sideshow's sales. I'm one of the few that bought those figures as soon as they came out.
Ken, I know you probably can't really talk about who's buying what in the company (as in Saban) but do you think this will...
bc: I think it's listed in the FAQ under the action figure part. The question was why the Tux Rowlf instead of regular Rowlf. The answer included the "something special" planned part.
Have you seen the picture of Nekkid Rowlf? He's really pear-shaped and fat, but for some reason I really...
Ah, but what is the "something special" they have planned for Nekkid Rowlf.
I think they should label the blister card he comes on with "Nekkid Rowlf" ;) :D
I think this may have been asked before, but I don't remember if it was answered. Didn't find it in the FAQ, but I admit that I only looked at the section marked Questions About Playsets.
My question is this: Will the EM Bus have the records or CDs on the ceiling and walls (if you've planned...
Drtooth
LOL! While I was reading your post, I actually heard it in a whisper in my head. HEHE.
As for me (no particular order):
Janice w/EM Bus (but will it have records or CDs? I'm hoping records)
Nekkid Rowlf
Swedish Chef w/Muppet Kitchen
Animal w/EM Stage
Piiiigs Iiiiin Spaaaaace!!
If you're planning on getting all the Peanuts figures, they are cheapest as the boxed sets. The individual carded figures are $7.99 and the boxed sets of 3 figs each are $15.99. The Snoopy with doghouse set didn't have a price on it, sorry. I got both boxed sets for Great Pumpkin. They're no...
Oops. Since my above post, I've come to realize that one of the concerns is that Janice's arms will be molded to only look good if she's holding a guitar, so I guess what I typed is known. Oh well.
To me, being a collector of McFarlane Toys, having that type of mold wouldn't bother me. I'm...
Janice
I may be wrong here, but as long as Janice has a little sculpted bend to her arms at the elbow, with the ball-joint shoulders and swivel wrists, she should be able to hold a guitar with little trouble even without elbow articulation. I played around with my Kermit, and if he had swivel...
