Cut Intro???
I asked this before and I think it got overlooked. What exactly are we meaning by Cut Intro? Does this mean we don't get the opening sequence of "It's the Muppet Show, with our very special guest star..."? This would seem really weird if that's the case.
Cut Intro?
I myself am very excited to get this set and honestly can't believe they actually decided to go with the original openings- how cool is that?
Anyways there's mention to a few episodes having cut intros. I was just wondering what that means exactly?
Thanks
Thought I'd bring this back since we're getting Season 1 soon.
Bruce Forsyth- for reasons afore mentioned
Harvey Korman- too choppy of an episode, and it didn't seem like Harvey brought any thing to the show
John Cleese- I don't know, his whole not wanting to be there kind of got old...
I would love it if they brought back Lips. For one thing, he's a really neat looking muppet. Plus he appears to have a relatively large fan base, including me, who want to see him return.
I don't know how feasible it is to expect his return any time soon, I wonder what it would take to...
Teresa Brewer
I always liked Teresa Brewer's episode. All of her songs were fun and I loved the recurring weight issue with Piggy. Also, it was one of the best At The Dance sketches ever.
Some side notes of favorite, would have to be
Shields & Yarnell (a favorite from when I was...
Has anybody said simpy 'female whatnots' yet? Even though they didn't have official names, we saw them in the at the dance sketches more than we saw some such as Astoria, Emily Bear, and Miss Appleby.
Don't forget Trumpet Lady.
This is one of my top 10 favorite movies. I used to love this as a kid and I also saw a play on it. I probably was most intrigued by Mombi's heads when I was a kid.
I don't know if anybody else saw this, but the girl Marnie on NBC's new show Committed sang the Mahna Mahna song and it's also her cell phone ring tone.
It was fun to see this- looks to be a promising show.
I've been more curious lately with the future releases of the Muppet Babies characters figures as well as stuffed animals/dvd sets. Has there ever been any type of Skeeter Merchandise? She seems to be long forgotten, but she was always one of my favorite Muppet Babies.
Could anyone please post a pic of Lips in Muppets At Disney World and A Muppet Family Christmas? Thanks, it would be very much appreciated and also interesting to see.
Hi everybody. I've always loved Madeline Kahn's episode of the Muppet Show and my favorite number is the Feet Number/song. But I've never been able to understand all of the words she's saying. Does anyone have a link to that song's words, or can you post them here? It would be appreciated...
to Wayne
I agree with you- there still is a lot more that could be made. We really need more female characters and Yolanda and Annie Sue should be made. Mildred would just be icing on the cake as she has a seemingly large fan base.
