I'll probably be there. Probably just Saturday as well. I didn't make it last year, but I went the last couple of years before that. Two years ago I even got to go to the after party with all the comic creators and whatnot. Good times.

Seeing as how I work in NYC, I skipped out on work a little bit early today to see if I could get into the premiere of "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz" at the Tribeca Film Fest. I was a little worried that I wouldn't get in at first, but I finally got in about 5-10 minutes before showtime... right...

I'd be surprised if there weren't some sort of connection with all the crazy things that Hunter S. Thompson wrote about (an idea he had for a new sport where one tries to shoot a golf ball out of the air after their opponent hits it was his inspiration for his final column for ESPN's page 2)...

I'm pretty sure both of the links posted above are satire in obvious reaction to the completely absurd accusations against Sponge Bob.

*Rizzo also boards the bus. Wet and sneezing. He casts an angry look at Beau who hit him into the puddle. My clothes are soaked! My nose is runny! All because of some STUPID mop!

*Rizzo flies about 15 yards. Owww! *Lands in puddle, emerging sopping wet What gives, Beau? Learn to control your mop. *The rain starts to pick up, it rains so hard that Rizzo can hardly make out the gang. Guys? Uh, hey guys! Wait up!!!

*Rizzo woke up as the bus screeched to a halt Wha-?!? Geez, we cannot go anywhere! Hmmm, maybe that gas station has some food! * Runs through rain toward gas station.

*Rizzo looks around the bus, stomach grumbling. Hey, who else is on this heap?

Not to be a complainer, because I still think these photos of Lips rock and I will get him regardless... My first impression was that the nose may be too bright red. It makes him look a little like Mr. Bill from the Saturday Night Live sketches. Otherwise, the sculpt... everything...
