I think practicing lip-synch techniques using songs is a great way to grasp the basics. Sometimes, for beginners, trying to think of what you're going to say AND moving your puppet's mouth around, whilst trying to keep good eye focus and personality, can be too much! So, I strongly advocate...

Greetings all! Last year I puppeteered on a game for Leap Frog's new "Little Leaps" Learning game. It uses puppets, live action, and animation to teach infants and toddlers shapes, counting, and letters in a 'game' setting. It's super cool. They even made tiny plushes for the game characters...

Hey Giar Fraggle! We just might have performed at your library--we've just finished our summer 'O6 tour (throughout California). Over 130 shows at various libraries. Did you make it to the show? If you do get to one of the Swazzle 'On Stage' shows, make sure you say "Hi"!
